January-We started the year covering a @GodSpeakCCTO scandal. Bryce Eddy and Rob McCoy hosted convicted sex offender Thom Cimino on their podcast and enabled him to lie about his crimes. We brought receipts. 2/25
February-Local activists worked to counter Charlie Kirk’s org attempting to recruit on college campuses. 3/25
(Bonus) February-We reported on the “Good News Club” setting up at @ConejoValleyUSD and exposed their ties to @GodSpeakCCTO and (another) convicted sex offender. 4/25
March- In coordination with activists everywhere, local residents participated in #TransDayofVisibility, communicating that the Conejo Valley is a place of inclusion and acceptance. 5/25
April-We exposed Bryce Eddy’s ties to Chris Dunn @covered6llc and provided receipts proving they both lied in an attempt to secure publicly funded contracts with @LVUSD . Our research contributed to them losing a contract with the City of Santa Monica. 6/25
(Bonus) April-We shared our research on Bryce Henson, the grifting, astroturfing anti-LGBTQI extremist who was invited into our community by Bryce Eddy. We also exposed his ties to neo-nazis and proud boys. 7/25
May-We shared our research on one of the biggest “local” social media sources of hateful extremist rhetoric online and named the local individuals and groups who engage with it. 8/25
(Bonus) May-Activists organized an outreach day at four colleges, providing information about christofascist organizations attempting to recruit on campuses. 9/25
June-We documented and shared evidence of the dirty little secret Rob McCoy and Amy Chen lied about for years. @GodSpeakCCTO and @ConejoGuardian are one and the same. 10/25
(Bonus) June-We also verified and shared the news that Rob and Michelle McCoy (who claim to be members of this community) purchased a house in Maricopa County, AZ, near TPUSA. 11/25

November-CVA hosts a meeting with several allies and activists to share resources and information while prioritizing goals for 2024. 21/25
December-We made our initial contribution to the #MidgardExposed research project which is currently wreaking havoc on the lives of fascists all around the globe. 22/25
(Bonus) December-In arguably our most critical research of the year, we exposed the actions of Jon Von Colln and Jonathan Oswaks related to the events resulting in the death of Paul Kessler. 23/25
EVERY MONTH-We continued our original organizing activism by keeping our “operation nazi watch” running year around. 24/25

After the first Free Palestine protest on Oct. 22 in Westlake Village, Jon Oswaks puts out a call on NextDoor to counter protest the event, Paul Kessler answers & says he’ll join him. They show up on Oct. 29 to “just film and see what’s going on” but that isn’t what they do.

In Oswaks’ video from that counter demonstration, which he later sent to Jon Von Colln, Oswaks proudly admits to demeaning women & girls by yelling “sharmouta”, Arabic for cunt, & sexually assaulting a girl by gesturing & saying “here it is baby, come and get it you whore”.

What do we know about this account? On Nov 2nd 2020 Betsy Jill Jones (then living in Ventura, CA with Gary N Jones) registered the trademark for Patriots of Ventura County. On Nov 13 2020 the IG account went active promoting a rally focused on election fraud conspiracies. 12/20 ImageImage
On November 15, 2020 the POVC account shared images from a rally, including this bearded guy (?) wearing a POVC hat and images of Ronda Kennedy and others (?) holding a POVC banner. 13/20 ImageImageImage
Based on real estate data broker sites, it appears the registered trademark holder for POVC, Betsy Jill Jones (and Gary Nelson Jones?) left their Ventura place of residence and purchased a home in Prescott Valley, AZ (between July 2021 and Feb 2022). 14/20 ImageImage

The POVC account is followed and engaged with by some individuals and organizations familiar in Conejo Valley right wing extremist activism. 2/20 ImageImageImage
