What's currently happening in Bangladesh needs immediate attention & GOI's intervention. It's very sad how our Shakti Peeths are being polluted by both internal & external forces. Now it's very strong & sacred teertha kshetra Chandranath Dham which has been captured by islamists.
Chandranath Hill, Sitakund of Chittagong is a very holy site as it's not only a Shakti Peeth but also the abode of Chandranath, Bhagavan Shiva Himself. Not only Bangladeshi Hindus but Hindus from every corner of this world should raise voice against the
constant desecration ++
of our holy tirthas. The Chandranath hill is under islamists attack. Bangladeshi muslims are constantly trying to occupy the Chandranath Hill. Muslims are repeatedly giving azaan & chanting religious slogans on the extremely sacred hill of Hindus. They tried to change the name ++
of Chandranath Hill to Azaan Hill. Not only that, muslims created fake mosque names around the Chandranath Hill on Google maps & fake mass reviews were given. Muslims haven't only captured the hill but are also not allowing the Hindus to enter the temple & attacking the devotees.
islamists are planning to organise beéf party on new year's eve at the sacred Chandranath Hills. This isn't the first time. For many years Chandranath Hills has been under attack & beéf party, namaaz azaan are regularly happening here. They did same to Adinath Maheshkhali Mandir.
islamists are attacking the Hindu pilgrims visiting the Chandranath Mahadev Shaktipeeth. The Bangladeshi Hindu activists have sought help from Indian embassy & are now requesting USA to intervene. It's beyond shameful that India hasn't responded yet.
I, an Indian Bengali Hindu, have very little hope from India seeing the utterly shameful stance of Indian government on Bangladeshi Hindus & temples of Bangladesh. But still... requesting @DrSJaishankar @PMOIndia @HMOIndia to please intervene & help our fellow Hindus.
The minority Bangladeshi Hindus don't even have a government of their own for any help. Requesting fellow Dharmikas to please raise this issue. The Shakti Peeth isn't sacred & important to Bangladeshi Hindus only. It's equally sacred for Hindus from every corner of this world.
A lot has been lost already. We can't afford to lose our remaining Shakti Peethas & other sacred worship places.
Please raise this matter @TheRajarshi @jsaideepak @RadharamnDas @HinduVoice_in @UnSubtleDesi
Joy Ma! Har Har Mahadev!

The Sages were worried seeing Sri Rama- the Lord Himself, in such condition. They started doing shanti path in distress. Janaki laughed seeing everything. When sages enquired reason behind laughter, She told that there is no glory in killing Ravana of Lanka.
Killing him is a joke. In the Pushkar Dveepa, there lives a Sahasramukhi Ravana who is thousand times stronger than the Ravana of Lanka. Killing the Sahasramukhi Ravana of the Pushkar Dveepa would be the real glory.
On hearing Janaki's words, Sri Rama with His brothers and vanarasena, He proceeded to Pushkar Dveepa. On arriving Pushkara, the army of Sri Rama was petrified seeing the gigantic Sahasramukhi Ravana.
Seeing Sri Rama lying unconscious on the Pushpak vimaan, Janak nandini revealed Herself. She assumed the ferocious and horrifying form of Mahakali and entered the war. Embraced Her husband who was still holding His bow arrow & His lotus eyes were closed shut.
Finding the Sahasramukha Ravana rejoicing his stupendous feat, Mahakali Sita laughed ferociously in a bone chilling tone. She stepped down from the Pushpak vimaan with sword in Her one hand and a hollowed out skull in another.
She lunged forward at the chariot of Ravana in a fraction of a moment and in less than a fraction, Mahakali Sita severed all the thousand heads of Ravana with one single swoop of Her sword. She picked up the heads of Ravana and started playing with those heads in the battlefield.
We Bengalis don't claim Durga Puja.
Nobody can claim Gods. What makes Bengalis' Durga Puja special is our culture, our emotions, our way of worship. That pure bond we share with Ma. It is this state where the Supreme Goddess is worshipped as Mother & taken care of as a daughter.
Bengal celebrates Durga Puja literally as the festival of the homecoming of the dearest beloved daughter- Uma. Uma is not an ordinary daughter.. this shouldn't be forgotten. Our whole life revolves around this Puja. Bijoya Dashami is the saddest day for every Bengali.
Whole year we prepare for this Puja. We welcome our Mother. She comes, receives so much love and worship from Her devotees and then comes the Bijoya when She leaves us just like a daughter leaves her parents' home and goes to Her husband's home.
The picture is based on the Kshirgram Shaktipeeth Jogadya who is the "Paatal Bhairavi," a Goddess worshipped by Mahiravan. I discussed the Mahiravan part earlier too but it needs special mention so wrote separately & have given this link in previous blog. bhabatarinibangabhumi.home.blog/2023/06/15/the…
The story of Mahiravan is not mentioned in Valmiki Ramayana but is mentioned in few regional Ramayana-s, one of those being the Krittibasi Ramayana & other one reference I've found in Ananda Ramayana. Please note that my writeup covers only the Krittibasi version of Ramayana.
Mahiravan was the Manasputra (mind born son) of Ravan. He was the king of Paatal loka. He worshipped Paatal Bhairavi and was a great tantra siddha.
He was skilled in trickery and could do such impossible things through tantra that none could fathom.
