Let's have a close look at Boeing and DEI!

Boeing's corporate filings with the SEC reveal that in beginning 2022, the annual bonus plan to reward CEO and executives for increasing profit for shareholders and prioritizing safety was changed to reward them if they hit DEI targets. Image
Up to 40% of the executives' potential pay is in that "annual incentive pay program" which is tied to hitting DEI targets. For those just catching on, DEI doesn't have anything to do with aircraft manufacturing or safety. Image
Boeing didn't just mandate DEI at Boeing. Italso prioritized ESG and DEI in their supply chain, as with ESG agendas, which suggests they did not look for the best suppliers on quality and safety on objective metrics, but focused on meeting their ESG goals instead. Image
The "annual incentive bonus" tied to DEI targets is more than the base salary for the CEO and CFO. It is equal to the salary for the Chief Legal Officer. These are perverse incentives for ideological projects that, at best, water down Boeing's mission: building safe aircraft.
Image
Image
It gets worse. The 2023 Boeing DEI/GEDI report is proud of how they tied executive compensation to DEI, not meritocracy and excellence regardless of race/identity. In fact they gave "Business Resource Groups" stock awards for their "contributions to inclusion." Corruption. Image
What is a "Business Resource Group," you may ask? It is a self-selecting race- and identity-based segregated group of employees promoted by management. They meet with a "Equity and Inclusion Steering team" to "discuss progress related to the company's 'equity' commitments." Image
In Boeing's 2023 DEI/GEDI report they are proud that more than 50% of their interns are from "underrepresented backgrounds." Were hiring based on merit or based on skin color and identity? DEI was never about proportionate representation; it's about destroying objective merit. Image
Why does this matter? Whistleblowers from Boeing have pointed out safety concerns with Boeing's production quality issues since 2018, but instead of prioritizing safety and fixing these issues, the company created bonuses that incentivize management to focus on hitting DEI goals. Image
In fact, if you look at their corporate filings (SEC Form 14A), the word "diversity" appears 54 times, and, ofc, the word "merit" appears 0 times. The focus away from meritocracy to DEI will likely kill thousands one day due to erosion of merit, safety, and excellence.
Image
Image
Meanwhile, corporate ESG and DEI plans incentivize CEOs and executives to violate the 1964 Civil Rights Act and Equal Protection Clause of 14A for a bigger bonus, as was reported in 2020. Image
Ofc, btw, Boeing is not the only company that has "DEI target bonuses." Companies like Starbucks has them too. Starbucks makes coffee, though. Boeing makes jetliners. People's lives are at stake, and we still have time to avoid the otherwise inevitable diversity plane crashes.
Image
Image
In fact, it would be interesting for journalists to look into the annual reports and SEC 14A filings of every Fortune 500 company to find out if their executives are rewarded for racially discriminating against their employees. It's likely endemic. Exposure and hearings needed.

By the way, your US politicians will be flying on private charter jets while you are flying on Boeing airliners so they don't care what happens to you. We should demand that they be forced to fly in the same planes everyone else does. Image
Further, when Boeing exes talk about safety in corporate documents, they often don't mean passenger safety but the "psychological safety" of employees, like in their DEI/GEDI report. These kinds of tricks are commonplace with that word. Read carefully.

Image
Possibly connected: We need a serious investigation into this recent Boeing accident. Why was the black box recorder completely erased for a 20 minute flight? Isn't that completely nonstandard? Image
The takeaway can't be that people should start being afraid of flying; that's what they want. They are pushing DEI in every industry, so other transportation likely isn't faring better. We need to demand consequences for people who push ESG and DEI over safety and excellence.
Rallying around transportation safety ahead of all ideology should be an easy thing. The only people who want diversity plane crashes are evil manipulators who we take advantage of the crisis to restrict us further. We need to get rid of DEI incentives NOW.
More than just getting rid of DEI and the incentives that installed it and keeping it in place, we need hearings and investigations, with serious consequences, for how those incentives got installed in the first place. It's not enough to do anything less.
This thread was happily sent from onboard an Airbus.
Postscript:
Here's the company, Spirit Aerosystems, where Boeing got the fateful door plugs. Notice their commitment to DEI and Sustainability (ESG) in their supply chain matters.

I generally agree, tho it's a matter of timing. We're on offense against DEI now, and it's taking incredible flak. We need to take this issue extremely seriously before the catastrophe arrives because if we don't, it will. There's some chance it will completely destroy DEI, tho.
The issue of DEI plane crashes, which are inevitable on the course we're on now, should be a powerful motivator for us to call the DEI apparatus even more deeply into question and to break its power over industry. That requires unmasking the incentive structures that installed it
The pro-DEI is explicit that it wants to completely end commercial flying "for the climate." In other words, the people pushing DEI onto the airline and air-traffic industries benefit from the inevitable catastrophe their mandates will cause. They have no incentive to stop.

One way to thread the needle as we start coming out of the Woke threat (not yet!) is to narrowly and specifically define "militant ideologies," including Communism and Fascism, and to seek a way to exclude them from civic power in free nations.
This would have to be done thoughtfully and will easily be co-opted, so it might not be practical in law or jurisprudence, but it is important for us at least to academically and culturally understand the idea so people can recognize what they are and reject their bids for power.
There is likely space within 1A jurisprudence (Establishment Clause) to determine that militant ideologies cannot be incorporated into the state while denying them the religious protections of the Free-Exercise Clause since they wouldn't necessarily be identified as "religions."

The plagiarism scandal we're learning about in academia asks hard questions about the integrity of the academic world. We also need to ask hard questions about the quality. We need to look closely at how poor and bogus the DEI-related literature is.
newdiscourses.com/grievance-stud…
The quality problem in academia, particularly in DEI-adjacent fields is astonishingly bad, and it demands a deep look. Reading papers, looking beneath the hood of what that corrupt system will validate.
In 2018, @peterboghossian, @HPluckrose, and I, with @MikeNayna, called attention to the quality crisis validating our academic leaders. What they accept as quality scholarship is almost unbelievable. It has to be seen to be believed.

Elon isn't wrong about the possibility of the border being a program to import future Democrat voters, but that's somewhat complicated. The main things they're importing with the border disaster, though, are a crisis and, crucially, class struggle, which America mostly lacks.
Marxism is a manipulative ideology built on class struggle. If you don't have a permanent underclass, though, you lack a key ingredient to spark the chaos needed for Marxist takeover. You'll have to import one, then activate it. Then the violence can begin. That's the border.
What's going to make it work are (1) a Critical Theory of Identity and (2) reaching crisis proportions before anything really happens with it. The crisis part is simple: it forces a reflexive environment and an urgent crap solution, which might get them their Democrat voters.

A thread about a pattern of Woke infiltration, so that it might be spotted and stopped.

Woke Marxists use a suite of techniques that are called "entryism" (the art of entering) to infiltrate institutions and take them over from within.
newdiscourses.com/2024/01/how-th…
There are five basic stages in this model of infiltration:
1) Demand access.
2) Demand accommodation.
3) Demand a seat at the table (demand power).
4) Demand to run the table (demand controlling power).
5) Demand to run the room (demand total power).
The first stage is to demand access. You hear this in much of their language. "Equity," even though it means the redistribution of shares, is framed through some linguistic tricks as equalizing access. "Inclusion" is about including Woke Marxists in things.
