1/ The Supreme Court will hear arguments today on whether Trump is barred from running for president under the 14th Amendment. Here are some key questions to watch for: (a thread) #Trump #SCOTUS #14thAmendment Image
2/ What would be the implications of disqualifying Trump from office? How would it affect the 2024 election and the future of the GOP? #Trump #2024Election #Disqualification Image
3/ Did the Capitol riot amount to an insurrection against the U.S. government? Did Trump’s actions before, during, and after the riot constitute engagement in the insurrection? #Trump #CapitolRiot #Insurrection #Impeachment Image
4/ Is it too late to challenge Trump’s eligibility since some states have already held their primaries? Did Colorado violate Trump’s due process rights by banning him from the ballot? #Trump #Colorado #DueProcess #VotingRights Image
5/ Does the term “office” in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment include the presidency? Or does it only apply to “officers” of the U.S., such as members of Congress or the Cabinet? #Trump #President #Office #Officer Image
6/ Does the presidential oath of office imply a duty to support the Constitution, even though it does not use the word “support”? Did Trump breach his oath by undermining the constitutional order? #Trump #Oath #Constitution #Support Image
7/ Does Section 3 of the 14th Amendment automatically disqualify anyone who engages in insurrection, or does it require an act of Congress to enforce it? Do states have the authority to exclude disqualified candidates from their ballots? #Trump #14thAmendment #Congress #States Image
8/ Does Trump need to be criminally convicted of insurrection to be disqualified, or is it enough for a court to find that he engaged in insurrection in a civil case, as Colorado did? #Trump #Insurrection #Conviction #CivilCase Image
9/ How does Section 3 of the 14th Amendment relate to the impeachment clause, which also allows for disqualification from future office? Is Section 3 an alternative or a supplement to impeachment? #Trump #Impeachment #Disqualification Image
10/ How does Section 3 of the 14th Amendment affect the presidential pardon power, which allows the president to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the U.S.? Can a president pardon himself or others for engaging in insurrection or rebellion? #Trump #Pardon Image
11/ How does Section 3 of the 14th Amendment impact the First Amendment rights of free speech and assembly, which protect the right of the people to petition the government for a redress of grievances? #Trump #FirstAmendment #FreeSpeech Image
12/ How does Section 3 of the 14th Amendment apply to other current or former officials who may have participated in or supported the Capitol riot or any future rebellions? Are they also subject to disqualification from office? #Trump #CapitolRiot #Insurrection #Accountability Image
13/ These are some of the main issues that the Supreme Court will have to address in the Trump disqualification case, which could determine whether the former president can run for office again in 2024. What is your prediction for the outcome? #Trump #SCOTUS #14thAmendment Image

BRICS in the Wall - The Colder War

With 27% of the world land surface and 42% of its population, the emergent World Order of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa is an absolute powerhouse. Combined they represent 25% of the Gross World Product. 1/11
This economic monster was the brainchild of Goldman Sachs. Back in 2001 he coined the phrase ‘building better economic BRICS’ 2/11
Already formidable, the concern is not what they are now but what they will become. This alliance is already greater than the USSR and has member interest from Argentina, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Mexico and Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Nigeria, Sudan, Syria and Pakistan. 3/11

Who do you stand with?

The amount of vile cultural hate is cranked to maximum right now in America.

There is seemingly no middle ground.

If you don’t stand with X you are...
If you don’t condemn X you are...
X is the physical manifestation of the Devil if you don’t agree. 1/21
Then there is the “I stand with the people of” nonsense. It is as if all the “people of” have a unified opinion. As if they are all equally saints.

2/21
Then by “standing with the people of” you support military escalation, greater regional conflict, more civilian deaths, infrastructure destruction, financial ruin and the risk of ecological nightmares🤷‍♂️
