South Carolina catholic priest, Jaime Gonzalez-Farias, has been sentenced to over 20 years in prison for taking an 11 year old child across state lines to Florida with the intention of raping them. Image
Jaime Adolfo Gonzalez-Farias, 69, former Charleston priest, pled guilty to sexual exploitation of a minor & has been sentenced to 21 years and 10 months in federal prison.

Farias, who served in a Columbia church, admitted to sexually abusing an 11 yr old in Florida and South Carolina. The abuse included an attempted sexual assault and the showing of pornographic material.

Former Colorado deputy district attorney & church leader, David McConkie, who was arrested for the rape of a child over the course of 9 years, has pled not guilty, despite a plea deal offer that would have kept him out of jail. Image
A plea deal offered to McConkie would see him plead guilty to 1 count of attempted sexual assault against a child. The prosecution stated he would be sentenced to a term of sex offender intensive supervised probation (SOISP), with no jail time.
