Starting your day with coffee does more harm than good.

How to use coffee to improve energy and focus (backed by science): Image
Melatonin is the most well-known sleep hormone in your body.

But there’s another hormone that plays a key role in energy levels: adenosine.

Throughout the day, adenosine builds up to prime your body for sleep.

There’s one problem: it uses the same receptors as caffeine.
When you start your day with coffee, the caffeine rushes to these receptors.

Meanwhile, adenosine is being produced with nowhere to go.

This causes a steady buildup of adenosine in your system, like a line of people waiting to get inside a venue.
When the caffeine wears off, all that adenosine rushes to bind to receptors.

This is what causes you to feel a sudden crash in the middle of the day.

Fortunately, there’s a simple fix: wait 90 minutes to drink your coffee (caffeine).
Delaying your morning coffee has other benefits, too.

Studies show that waiting 90 minutes to consume caffeine increases alertness and focus throughout the day.

It also helps you avoid developing a higher tolerance for caffeine.
While you wait for your morning coffee, try these habits:

• Drink a glass of room-temperature water
• Spend 10 minutes outside in the sunlight
• Eat a nutrient-dense breakfast with a source of protein

These 3 habits set the stage for a day of energy, focus, and productivity.
This method has been studied and pioneered by Dr. Andrew Huberman from Stanford.

His research is dedicated to providing science-based tools for optimal living.

Delaying caffeine has been one of the most impactful protocols I’ve implemented in my daily life.

Saunas were used to heal your ancestors for centuries.

Here are 6 reasons you should start using it today: Image
Promotes muscle growth

The heat of a sauna causes your blood vessels to dilate for increased blood flow.

This results in faster muscle repair and growth.

It also reduces inflammation to help you avoid delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS).
Supports brain health

Saunas increase the production of the protein BDNF.

This plays a key role in keeping neurons healthy and active.

They can also regulate stress by lowering cortisol levels.

These benefits reduce your risk of Alzheimer's and dementia.

This sets the stage for:
• Stroke
• Obesity

• Heart disease
• Chronic fatigue

Here are 7 ways to unf*ck your metabolism: Image
Eat a high-protein diet

Your body uses more energy to digest protein than carbs or fats.

Protein also increases satiety, decreasing cravings throughout the day.

Aim to eat 0.8g of protein per pound of body weight per day.
Drink coffee (the right way)

Coffee can temporarily boost your metabolism by 3-11%.

Follow these rules to avoid affecting other areas of your performance:

If your brain isn’t healthy, neither are you.

Most people are slowly killing their brain without realizing it.

Here are 12 bad habits hurting your brain (and how to fix them): Image
Skipping Breakfast

People say breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Skipping it can lower blood sugar levels, affecting mood, energy, and concentration.

A nutritious morning meal kickstarts brain function and helps keep energy levels stable.
Excessive screen time

Prolonged screen use causes digital eye strain, sleep disruption, and hinders your brain's memory formation and processing abilities.

Utilize the 20-20-20 rule for healthy balance.

Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.

When life gets hard, open this:
Pain Is Temporary

The most important thing to remember is that life is ever-changing, and your current circumstances are not permanent.

Nothing is eternal. So break the habit of believing that things will always be this way.

They won’t. “This too shall pass.”
Failure Isn’t Final

Regardless of your circumstances, you will fail from time to time. That’s okay.

True failure only comes once you choose to give up on your pursuits.

The obstacles you encounter on your path to success are simply building blocks to the life you want.
