As we enter the era of “coexisting” with all the pathogens, remember pro-infection epidemiologists like Steven Phillips, VP Science & Strategy, Covid Collaborative (formerly at Exxon).

He wrote this in January 2023 & it became our national strategy. time.com/6251077/covid-…
Time: After three years of the imposition, followed by gradual easing, of lockdowns, quarantine, isolation, testing, vaccination and masking, how does the holdout one-third of the country move from the current obsolete but ingrained “avoid exposure” paradigm to an endemic “accept exposure” reality? This not only has significant medical, public and mental health implications; it will also accelerate a return to a fully-functioning and dynamic society.
He tells us EXACTLY who to target to speed up this “frame shift” to “accept exposure.”

And it all worked BEAUTIFULLY. Time: There are three segments of society—policymakers, experts (scientists, biomedical and public health practitioners), and the media—that form an ecosystem that has played a major interactive role in shaping our current pandemic paradigm. This ecosystem is also the one that could help catalyze and speed a frame-shift.
A year later, we’re doing “new, courageous ‘accept exposure’ policies, public education, & behavior change strategies” for measles, TB, & others.

Public health is dead when epidemiologists are calling public health protections “impositions” & recommending we “accept exposure.” Time: The U.S. is now at a major pandemic crossroad. “Follow the science” has been a central policy guidepost in the pandemic. Science and public health knowledge and expertise is the conduit to both sound policy and public education through media channels. New courageous “accept exposure” policies, public education and behavior change strategies are needed to capture the benefits of the new paradigm. This could be a major step in bridging our national COVID divide.
In November 2023, he returned with “a new theory to explain LongCovid,” calling LongCovid “a new name for an old syndrome,” & to suggest another paradigm shift. time.com/6335177/long-c…
Time: A new theory to explain Long COVID We suggest a unifying hypothesis that explains the striking lack of progress in understanding Long COVID through a traditional biomedical and public health lens. Our recent editorial in STAT posits that Long COVID is a new name for an old syndrome. It is virtually indistinguishable from the condition long known in the medical lexicon as post-infectious syndrome or myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS)—in colloquial terms known simply as “chronic fatigue syndrome.”

I was an active Democrat when I moved to NY in 2014. I attended protests, & then I dutifully voted for Biden after Covid disabled me in 2020, expecting a pandemic response. By 2021, I knew we had been played. I am leaving NY as a registered Independent for the first time ever. The abandonment is unforgivable, the genocides (plural) are heinous, this administration brought back CHILD LABOR, outlawed abortion, & we won’t be recovering from public health’s systematic destruction. I doubt I’ll even vote. Everyone is DRAMATICALLY underestimating how much these betrayals are going to affect the election. The sides changed while everyone was distracted by Pretend Normal.
The US hasn’t been a full democracy for the last 8 years, and absolutely nothing is going to change because we are governed by corporations.
Telling me “If you’re not a Democrat you’re a Republican” doesn’t help. Here’s the thing, I don’t care anymore. This is my 5th year living like this. There is absolutely no help coming. Many of you will be where I am in a few years.

When people ask, “Why are you wearing a mask?” say, “After x Covid infections I’m now immunocompromised. Since we’re learning SARS-CoV-2 is similar to HIV, I don’t want to die from all the opportunistic infections circulating,” then watch as their faces fall & the panic sets in.
There appears to be a new wave of “It’s the vaccine” trolls. I’ve always felt “It’s the vaccine” arguments exist to run cover for endless mass infection. If we pretend vaccines are causing all the illness & death, the solution is Business as usual & blaming individuals. If we admit it’s THE VIRUS, governments are liable, action is required, & someone has to pay for it. (But we’ll still blame individuals, that’s the common theme here.) Somehow the situation has been arranged so that EVERYONE believes they’re exempt from Covid complications. Some think they’re fully protected because they’re vaccinated, while others feel they’re fully-protected because they’re not. Business & industry wins both ways. NO ONE is exempt.
Sorry, I forgot a lot of people have never heard of Covid causing immunodeficiency.

Evidently the monsters aren’t going to stop. This is asinine.
“Most people have immunity” and that’s why the US is currently in the 2nd largest wave on record.

“Most people have immunity” and that’s why 2000 Americans are dying of Covid each week & 34% more Americans 35-44 died than expected last year. (Likely a massive undercount)

Palantir, described as an “unethical surveillance corporation with ties to CIA & Israel, accused of human rights violations,” has been in charge of US disease surveillance since 2020. The CDC has renewed & expanded their contract every year. This is a test to see if this app is censoring Palantir posts. Please like if you see this.
Things that make you go “hmmm.”

Fun fact: More women than men get LongCovid.

We have normalized endless mass reinfection, & there have been numerous complications reported in recipients who received organs from Covid-positive donors. Some countries don’t let LongCovid patients donate blood.
Despite all the complications reported in transplant recipients who received organs from Covid-positive patients (we’ve been hearing about this since 2020), there is seemingly no discussion or concern. 🧵
