.@PolitiFact & @AmySherman1 tried to fact check me on Instagram.
I knew they would. They walked right into this. Here is the post. Let me show you how this is all propaganda. Image
Here is her email to me. You can see by her questions that she’s already prejudged the issue.
Loose references to her reading the news & asking the Dem Secretary of State about it, who I guess she took uncritically at his word. Image
Here is a screenshot of my reply to her, which I sent at 1:57pm. Well before her deadline of 4pm.
Her email to me was sent at 12:40pm. So I didn’t wait that long to reply. And did so in good faith. My full response is in the next post. Image
Hi Amy,

I really appreciate you reaching out. It sounds like you’re asking me to do an investigation of this specific incident in Nevada but fortunately it’s not necessary because we can look at history as a reference and draw reasonable conclusions from there.
The premise of your question is flawed and ultimately misses the point of my post on Instagram and the core of the issue itself.  That is, mail in voting is not the best way to conduct an election. It is also not the best way to build confidence in the electorate, the latest issue in Nevada is just one recent example.
Serious concerns regarding mail in voting were found in the Commission on Federal Election Reform, which was chaired by former President Jimmy Carter.
It was also the position held by the New York Times in 2012.
You can read that article here:
Headline: Error and Fraud at Issue as Absentee Voting Rises—

It’s also reasonable to assume that these concerns are the basis for why mail in voting is banned in most developed countries

‘Most developed countries ban mail-in ballots unless the citizen is living abroad or require Photo-IDs to obtain those ballots. Even higher percentages of European Union or other European countries ban mail-in ballots for in country voters.’

You can download the full abstract here:

Original Research: Why do most countries ban mail-in ballots?: They have seen massive vote fraud problems

With these concerns in mind it’s fairly easy to conclude that we have issues here in America as well, is it not? Given our government’s long history of misrepresenting the truth, perhaps we should not trust any Secretary of State’s explanation as the final word on the matter since they usually are interested in protecting a narrative and not the truth. Has anyone investigated to see if what the Nevada Secretary of State said about this issue was true?
Have you reached out to Cisco Aguilar? If so, will you please let me know? No one is denying that the voter history information is wrong. If there’s an investigation being done, it would just be getting started. So it’s premature and unreasonable to demand evidence and even more so to request the ‘number of fraudulent ballots cast’. What you’re asking is essentially the same as asking someone the cause of death prior to an autopsy being conducted, is it not? It seems to me that you’ve already prejudged this issue based on your line of questioning.

Perhaps we should allow for an open and honest discourse in the service of reforming institutions paid for by US taxpayers, especially when it’s about an issue as important as election integrity.

Thank you. Have a great day.

Sincerely,

Her official ‘fact check’ came today sometime. She attributes a false quote to me. I never said this. But that’s not all. Image
She said that I did not reply. But as you can see above, I did.
@PolitiFact & @AmySherman1 are nothing more than regime propagandists, & they are harming the country with these lies.
When you see a ‘fact check’ realize it’s about defending the narrative not the truth. Image

When I was leading soldiers in combat, it was never about me. It was about protecting my troops. I felt a sacred obligation to protect their lives.
Today I feel a similar obligation to safeguard every vote cast in this election - whether those votes were cast for me or not.
This election is no longer about who wins & who loses. It’s much bigger than that. It’s about preserving the institutions that have allowed this nation to endure for over two centuries.
We cannot allow artificial, agenda-driven, deadlines to dictate the outcome of this election. There is far too much at stake. The media doesn’t determine the outcome of elections, nor do the candidates themselves.

🚨THREAD🚨

I’ve spent the last 48 hours talking to small businesses here in Western PA. Some feedback from these discussions will follow.
They feel that House & Senate are taking too long to get them relief. Speed is critical right now & urgent action is needed to preserve them. Keeping people healthy AND employed during this crisis should be the focus.
First & foremost, a loan guarantee program for small businesses is critical to keeping the economy going & will prevent millions of business failures & millions upon millions of lost jobs. It will also enable the economy to recover fast once the virus is under control.

I’m grateful for @realDonaldTrump & his administration’s efforts in support of a peace deal in Afghanistan. We’ve been at war there my entire adult life. Americans have been bleeding the ground red for nearly two decades with no end in sight.
This deal was long overdue.
But I’m uneasy b/c I know the enemy. It’s important to understand that “The Taliban” are not a monolithic force. There are many factions, & our enemy goes by many different names.
While it may not be “The Taliban” who sow discord, & break the peace, other groups & factions will.
It’s not a question of if this happens but when
And when something happens we will turn to the Taliban leadership, & they will say:
“We don’t know who did this, but if we find out, we will tell you.”
Anyone who’s served in Afghanistan has heard this every time they leave the wire

THREAD:
Siraj Haqqani is a violent extremist & what he says in this article cannot be trusted.
My platoon fought the Haqqani Network for 485 days. They bombed schools, kidnapped & tortured children. Targeted civilians. They terrorized the Afghan people.

nytimes.com/2020/02/20/opi…
If it were up to us, we would have never fired our weapons in Afghanistan. We were content to help the Afghan people. We built schools & wells. Brought food & water to them. Coloring books & blankets for children.
Siraj knew this, but attacked us every single day anyway.
Siraj contends in this article that the US moved goal posts, & that he & his fighters were just defending themselves.
Lies.
We were there in Afghanistan because you helped & gave safe haven to al Qaeda & they attacked our nation, killing 2977 Americans on 9/11.

THREAD:
Since I announced this incredible Fraternal Order of Police endorsement the far left has called us every name in the book.
A local “journalist” insulted our personal lives & families.
My opponent’s family even scoffed, essentially saying their endorsement didn’t matter.
Obviously this behavior is reprehensible, but I wanted to share something about one of the men in this photo.
He’s standing to my right. He’s the father of a beautiful special needs child. He’s also a full time police officer.
As his child grew up, he realized that there weren’t enough job training programs that helped autistic kids learn critical life and job skills.
So he opened a bar restaurant to help teach his child.
