/1 🚨BREAKING: After receiving reports of religious and race-based discrimination occurring in Missouri schools, I’ve ordered 3 school districts to immediately CEASE and DESIST discriminatory practices against their students and staff.

THREAD:
/2 I’ve received reports that Lindbergh School District has instituted a race-based criteria for students seeking to enter the gifted program.

/3 The program’s traditional pathway to entry requires a student to score in the 95th national percentile on at least one screener or standardized test (math or reading) and in at least the 85th percentile on the other.
/4 The school is allowing students who are part of an underrepresented racial or ethnic population to achieve standardized test scores in the 84th percentile on one test (math or reading) and in the 50th percentile on the other.
/5 The district’s policy states that its goal is to reach a 20% equity index for underrepresented student populations.
/6 If these reports are true, Lindbergh School District is discriminating on the basis of race, in direct violation of both state and federal law.

I’ve put the district on notice.
/7 I’ve also received reports that Parkway School District is preventing students from forming religious-based clubs like Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

/8 Reports indicate this includes prohibiting students from using the campus announcement system, hanging posters, or holding FCA meetings on campus.
/9 State and federal law prohibit religious discrimination in schools.

I’ve put the district on notice.
/10 I’ve also received reports that Webster Groves School District has instituted race-based criteria for its employees and applicants.

/11 Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prevents an employer from refusing to hire, or otherwise discriminate, against employees or candidates because of their race.
/12 Classifying employees and applicants based on race and using this information to make hiring decisions would violate the law.

I’ve put the district on notice.
/13 This is about protecting the constitutional rights of all Missourians to be free from discrimination.
/14 As the chief legal officer for the State of Missouri, I am prepared to exercise my office’s full authority under the law to ensure no Missouri school district discriminates against its students or staff.
/15 As long as I’m Attorney General, discrimination will be dead on arrival in this state.

🚨BREAKING: We have reason to believe Media Matters used fraud to solicit donations from Missourians in order to bully advertisers into pulling out of X, the last platform dedicated to free speech in America.

We have launched an investigation.

Enemies of free speech are attempting to kill X because they cannot control it, and we are not going to let Missourians be subject to fraud in the process.
I’m fighting to ensure progressive tyrants masquerading as news outlets cannot manipulate the marketplace in order to wipe out free speech.

🚨BREAKING: We have filed suit against Washington University in St. Louis for failing to hand over documents they had previously agreed to provide amidst our investigation into their pediatric transgender clinic.
What’s more: We have reason to believe the Biden administration is interfering with the investigation.
In February, a whistleblower came forward with allegations that the center used experimental drugs on children, gave puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones without individualized assessment, and bullied parents into “consenting” to giving their children life-altering drugs.

🚨BREAKING: We have filed a brief to reverse the unconstitutional gag order against President Trump.

The gag order stifles his ability to speak freely ahead of the 2024 presidential election and denies Americans the right to hear free debate from all presidential candidates.

President Trump, like so many Americans, has been silenced on social media platforms for daring to be a political opponent of Joe Biden, and now they’re attempting to silence his right to speak at all.
This blatant weaponization of the criminal justice system is inherently un-American and goes against the very soul of our great nation.

I’m proud to stand with President Trump in this new front in the war for free speech.

🚨BREAKING: Kim Gardner hit the eject button and resigned as Circuit Attorney when it became clear that our lawsuit to remove her from office was going to be successful.

My office has published the Gardner Report to ensure no one person will ever take our state hostage again.
The Gardner Report puts into the public domain what went wrong, how it happened, and what systems need to be put in place to prevent this from happening in the future.

🚨BREAKING: We’ve just obtained an injunction against CISA, an agency within the Department of Homeland Security, that blocks them from violating the First Amendment rights of millions of Americans.

The order also applies to the White House, Surgeon General, CDC, and FBI.
If you don't remember, the Fifth Circuit already handed down a court order blocking the Biden Administration from silencing disfavored viewpoints.

CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency housed in DHS) was originally not included in the Fifth Circuit's order.
We filed a motion asking the Fifth Circuit to include CISA in their court order blocking further First Amendment violations.

It was granted.

🚨As the first state to successfully defend at the trial court a legal challenge to a law protecting children from gender mutilation, Missouri is now taking our litigation strategy to other states. Image
Missouri is leading a multistate coalition in filing an amicus brief supporting Arkansas’ law banning irreversible gender transition procedures for minors. Image
We shined a light on the lack of science supporting these experimental, irreversible procedures, and the Court ruled in our favor.

We’re deploying this strategy in legal battles across the nation because all children are worth defending.
