Pramila Patten didn't do any independent investigation. She went there to relay these hoax lies at a UN press conference so that Jeffrey Gettleman, Adam Sella, Anat Schwartz and the rest of the media class can go "BREAKING: UN CONFIRMS OUR HOAX". Here she is with Landau:

now this is essential: After Jeffrey Gettleman, Anat Schwartz and Adam Sella fabricated their hoax in late December, repeating widely debunked propaganda, they did a follow-up weeks later responding to the critiques. How did they frame it?

but there is no independent UN investigation. Pramila Patten didn't go there with a team to investigate and corroborate the claims. They went there because the Israeli regime and NYT, including Gettleman, Sella and Schwartz, launched a campaign demanding the UN launder the hoax:
