Sable was arrested at a BLM protest and belongs to an org where rich people get together to feel bad about being rich. she also sends hate mail about republican politicians to her local paper. She's not so great at organizing, but she is phenomenal at one thing:

sending money to marianne williamson 😎 somehow lee boyd malvo attracted the only person who genuinely believed that marianne williamson had the balls to be the most powerful person in the world. sable sent $100k, worked the campaign and did a lot of pro-williamson pieces

lee's wife probably learned how to support politicians from her real estate mogul grandpa, bill knapp, who got heat for taking two state representatives on "vacations" to delay a vote (that's bill on the left and kenneth quinn, SFS, Ford's vietnamese interpreter on the right)

bill knapp's childhood friend, Chet Culver, had recently been elected governor when he flew to bill's sarasota beach house- the same week he was supposed to vote on House File 2645, legislation that would allow unions to expand the scope of negotiations beyond salaries

Culver’s friend, Senator John Putney, tried to defend Culver’s vacation, but there was a problem: Putney had also missed a few days of this legislative session because he, too, went on vacation with Bill Knapp! In fact, Sen. Putney went on a very expensive vacation

every night Putney spent as much as $600 per person on dinners (4 members of the Knapp family) claiming it was “payment for his stay” in Knapp's $1.5M oceanfront condo. Later Putney and Culver told press they paid a weekly fee, which is estimated to be ~35% of the mortgage

sadly house file 2645 did not pass. Culver vetoed it and then gave himself a raise. but he also has to walk around looking like a kid trying on his dad's suits 24/7

bill knapp is/was infamous in iowa- he used connections to conduct under-the-table deals, like this purchase of a major air field from a charitable organization for a fraction of the actual price. years after this purchase, knapp was caught lying on the tax filing

anyways i'm hitting pause. happy anniversary lee and good luck with all this
