before i leave DC, i wanted to share a few findings from my research into the DC snipers: in feb of '02, john allen muhammad (41) and lee boyd malvo (17) began driving across the country, allegedly to kill john's ex-wife and kidnap his three kids. firing out a hole in the back of john's car, the pair killed 17 people and injured 10 over the course of 8 months
