There are two sides.

Saskatchewan is indicating their abandonment of rule of law.

Federal authority is being used to enforce the law.

Saskatchewan premier is breaking the law.

Voluntarily submitting to the law of the nation is a condition of democratic governance.

Refusing to submit to the rule of law is an act of anarchy.

Presenting this situation as a minor tit-for-tat conflict seriously undermines the legitimacy of rule of law.

There are no options for rule of law. They either apply or they don’t.

That’s the conflict.

CBC might as well take out an ad supporting Saskatchewan’s premier and all the other premiers flouting rule of law (by refusing to abide by Supreme Court rulings).

Minimization of this issue comes at the cost of liberal democracy.

Rule of law is a foundational principle of democracy.

Along with access to accurate information about shared reality (free press), free & fair elections (fair riding boundaries and free of domestic and foreign election interference) & a commitment to truth and verifiable facts.

When we refer to unbroken institutions, unless these principles are maintained, we cannot refer to Canada as a liberalist social democracy.

Which is kinda the point of defying rule of law.

Scott Moe is threatening Canadian democracy, not carbon levies.

He’s saying in politico language that if the PM doesn’t remove the carbon levy then he will destroy rule of law by giving every citizen permission to pick the laws they feel are pertinent and ignore the rest.

Not that this hasn’t already been done by convoy participants.

But the declaration of defiance of a legitimately elected provincial authority refusing to accept the Supreme Court’s ruling is an act of anarchy that is meant to destroy rule of law.

Law and order are social constructs. There is no magic that makes people adhere to laws.

ALL voluntarily choose to submit to the laws that are created by our elected officials in parliament/legislature & interpreted by the courts in the justice system.

Scott Moe’s defiance challenges the legitimacy of the Supreme Court of Canada (SCC) as a democratic institution.

Moe’s refusal to submit to federal authority to make laws impacting the nation’s climate action is not a spat.

The SCC has already decided this issue.

Moe is performing a coup d’état that both feds and the free press are ignoring and it’s scaring the crap out of me.

It should be scaring the crap out of you too.

We have grown accustomed to people deciding which laws they will follow through repeated exposure to defiance and intimidation of yellow vests, religious institutions and then trucker convoys refusing to abide by rule of law.

Canada’s so called “free press” was captured (read destroyed) when Harper permitted foreign ownership of Canada’s free press. Being a capitalist investment, the press then became obliged to make money for shareholders, not offer facts, truth & transparency of relevant matters.

While the transition from free press to captured and controlled press shouldn’t impact a federally funded media corporation, it became necessary under Harper’s govt for CBC to rely on ads for revenue.

As well, a far right libertarian “free market” board of directors was appointed and the mission of CBC was altered drastically. No longer the public institution it once was, it became a tool of capitalists to shape perception.

Like it’s doing right now with this story.

Moe should be removed from office immediately. Not by the federal government. By the people of Saskatchewan who refuse for him to threaten Saskatchewan’s legitimacy as a Canadian province. That decision was made in 1905. Scott Moe is opening it up for debate by defying Ottawa.

Unless Saskatchewan citizens let Moe and his party know their disapproval for his chosen act of defiance putting the entirety of Canadian confederation (and the constitution) at threat (not just Saskatchewan’s) this could get much worse.

You know how the polls say PP is ahead in the polls? I call BS because anarchist libertarians (stop calling them conservatives) like Scott Moe and the Sask Party wouldn’t need to threaten Canadian confederation from the provincial level. They would just wait for PP.

But it’s all smoke and mirrors.

It’s the same mindf**k trickery American “Freedom Caucus” GOP Republicans pulled to distract Biden immediately prior to Israel being attacked by Hamas in October 2023.

That’s four days before Hamas attacked Israel.

Since it’s already documented that Netanyahu was in possession of intelligence that Hamas was about to attack and did nothing to stop it or intervene as it occurred, his allies would probably have had that intelligence as well.

Who knew the depth of deviance Christian nationalists would go to grab power?

Funny how immigration has been exploited to block aid to Ukraine, instead of Musk interfering in foreign policy its federal Cons and radicalized progressive left extremists & the Canadian population is suffering from the same difficulty with perception and reality.

Why? Because Canadian media is minimizing this issue by calling it a spat over carbon levy carveouts.

This is not about carbon levies anymore than Speaker Johnson is blocking immigration legislation over border concerns.

These actions (Moe threatening the constitution; Smith legislating Alberta sovereignty, attacking children & attempting to collapse Canada’s Pension Plan; Higgs blocking access to reproductive healthcare & attack on children) are plausibly deniable attacks on federal authority.

The only difference is that Canadian “free press” has NOT identified who is directing this coordinated attack on the legitimacy of federal authority as codified in the Canadian constitution and charter of rights and freedoms. That’s the part that is the scariest.

Unless a person immerses themselves in political issues regionally, federally and internationally, they can’t see that this is a coordinated attack on western democracy.

Canadian press isn’t broken. It’s complicit. Just like US “free press” ignores the illegitimacy of Trump.

Perception that is incongruent with reality is a symptom of manufactured consent.

And if you’ve been paying even moderate attention, the US and Canada are both stretched between Ukraine and Middle Eastern wars…

…while also forced to address domestic ANARCHIST attacks on their respective Constitutions, Supreme Courts & rule of law, access to relevant information about shared reality (free press), free & fair elections (riding boundaries & election interference) & a commitment to truth.

Putin has orchestrated a coordinated attack on the Canada’s & US’s liberal democracies. With the help of ANARCHIST parties (Republicans, CPC & provincial con parties) connected by Christian Nationalism.

Most people are unaware of this attack because the free press is not reporting it and continues to minimize the state of affairs in both US and Canada.

Demand truth and stop calling CPC and their provincial equivalents conservative. They are ANARCHISTS.

Conservatives seek status quo. Not coups. And they don’t partner with Russian dictators to coordinate a coup that will destroy democracy.

Why is Kim Campbell denouncing PP? Because he is not conservative. He’s an ANARCHIST working for Putin.

And if you think I’m hyperbolic or a conspiracy theorist, you are minimizing the threat we are currently facing.

I predicted this outcome 5 years ago. Before UCP was elected provincially. How? I’m paying attention to reality, not the fake reality anarchists want us all to see.

There are no heroes coming.

It’s up to us to stand up to organized criminal anarchists trying to destroy our democracies by removing our rights, freedoms & constitutional protections.

Wake the eff up.

It’s right in front of your eyes. All you have to do is open them.

Then stand up and say

Get involved. Vet every piece of information. Stop being herded by calls to defend one ethnic group or another.

I have avoided writing this because it’s a shocking truth.

The current situations have been arranged to drive wedges between democratic populations.

On September 20, 2023 both US and Canada were united in supporting democracy by helping Ukraine with whatever it too to win.

It’s March 10, 2024.

US Congress and Canadian Parliament are divided by ideology about whose sovereignty is worthy of financial support and domestic instability is threatening our respective constitution’s legitimacy.

In six months two of the strongest liberal democracies have been brought to their knees.

Get off your knees. You need to perceive the threat before you determine how to respond.

We are not helpless, we are strong in numbers, we are the majority and anarchy must be ended. Now.
