Trump didn’t go to any other officers memorial service this year, last year, or year before. He went to this one because it was the same day & place as a huge pre-planned Biden event. He went solely for the purpose of exploiting a man’s death to make it a campaign event.

So when Trump went on a tangent about a bloodbath if he loses he was just talking about his lie that 100% of the US auto industry was going to move to China under Biden? Although his cult followers might not get that addled nuance, we must assume he’s only lying not inciting?
When he said come to DC on J6 and “be there, will be wild!” he was only talking about the speeches. They were going to be wild speeches. And when Mo Brooks said they have to “kick some ass” in a bulletproof vest he was talking about them just peacefully protesting earnestly.
The problem with media today is that they fundamentally don’t understand what is happening. Journalism school, & maybe previous decades in the business, have taught them to give the benefit of the doubt on intent. But these Weimar journalists still don’t get that what they are dealing with is taught in history classes, not journalism school.
