JUST IN: Trump files a pre-motion letter for recusal of Justice Merchan. 
Trump’s lawyers claim the Merchan’s daughter’s company, Authentic Campaigns Inc, stands to benefit financially from the case, which will provide “fodder for fundraising.”
The pre-motion letter argues that the “unacceptable risk that the Court’s family relationships will influence judicial conduct” that was deemed only speculative in a prior recusal motion has now come to pass.
