Almost 2 million Palestinians out of 2.3 million have been forcibly displaced. Many have been displaced multiple times. 1.5 million (600k children) are crammed into Rafah in the south of Gaza awaiting an Israeli ground invasion 4/

Israel has used starvation as a weapon of war. The first step in this was announced on 9 October by announcing a total siege on Gaza. It has continued to block aid and make it almost impossible for aid agencies to do their life-saving work. 5/

Israeli officials & their enablers lied claiming that Israel was not blocking aid. This lying was further exposed when Israel agreed last week to open more crossings & facilitate aid through Ashdod. Now it has approved reopening of 20 bakeries + water pipeline in northern Gaza 6/

The international community has failed to hold Israel to account. Worse they have given Israel a green light to continue. Major states including the US and also the UK have been providing aid but also providing weapons. This must end 7/

133 Israeli & foreign nationals remain held as hostages in Gaza. They must be released. Thousands of Palestinians from Gaza are in detention – we do not know where and the ICRC has not had access since 7 October 9/

More anger was triggered by the killing, possibly murder, of the 7 international aid workers in Gaza than the 33,000 (min figure) Palestinians killed, including 14,000 children. 10/

Apologists for Israeli crimes who never criticise Israel's treatment of Palestinians still get airtime and are treated as mainstream. @SirAlanDuncan was right to call out one group, the @CFoI which has yet to criticise any Israeli actions since 7 October. 14/
