The Kaliningrad subsea communcations cable was severed last autumn.

Since Sun morning dive support vessel 'Surveyor' is doing something along this cable by Kaliningrad.

Vessel started transfer from Caspian Sea about a week after cable broke.

Peciuliarly one of two cables running almost paralell from Kaliningrad to Russia proper switches description as it crosses border. Along the most part of its path it is marked as a comms cables, but when it passes through Finnish EEZ it is marked as a power calbe. Regulatory? Image

I think both marked cables are comms cables, with the other cable being an older one. lists one cable only, but the charts are clear that there are two. submarinecablemap.comImage
This is the landing spot of the two cables, deep in Gulf of Finland, Russian soil. This part saw many days work during autumn, but I cant find my own post on it :-| Image
I dont know if they managed to fix it yet? Happy for input from ISP or BGP-folks.

ASTROL 1 is a largely flat cargo ship with hatches that likely would serve well as drone pads.

She is a similar model to SCANLARK, recently apprehended by German authorities on drone suspicions and to PORT OLYA 4, drone import ship on Iran trade. Sunk by Ukraine. Image

A Russian brand new fishing boat is almost blocking Öresund strait.

They seemingly lost propulsion 4 hours ago, drifted north towards the very narrow channels (~300m) but seem to have anchored.

Swedish coast guard and police have been at scene.

I thought I had found indications of a targeted GNSS jamming attack against president von der Leyen's aircraft this Sunday.

Then I disproved my own hypothesis. Here's how!

This is common for me, I usually don't show it because it takes a lot of effort to explain also 0-results
Hypothesis: if vdLeyen-flight was jammed by a directional jammer other aircraft in the emission cone would also be affected

I got the idea upon looking at an animation by @lemonodor

Swedish island Gotland is completely without power, for the second time in two weeks.

Gotland is considered paramount to NATO control of Baltic Sea.

As far as I know last outage is still being analyzed and cause is not known.
