More testimony continues to surface detailing US-backed Israeli war crimes. Last week, an anonymous Israeli doctor released a devastating letter detailing the conditions at Sde Teiman, an Israeli concentration camp currently holding over 800 Palestinians from Gaza. 🧵
The conditions are inhumane: Palestinians are handcuffed 24 hours-a-day, which causes such extreme injury that amputation “is a routine event.”
Imprisoned Palestinians are regularly blindfolded, fed only through a straw, denied toilet access, and undergo major surgeries without proper medical care, the unnamed doctor said in the letter.
When the United States government sends funding to the Israeli military, this is what it is endorsing and enabling.
Palestinians who survived the camp described experiences of extreme violence, starvation, and severe medical neglect, leading to the death of an unknown number of people, as the Israeli military refuses to release any information about the concentration camp.
What the Israeli military is doing to Palestinians at Sde Teiman are crimes against humanity.
The deplorable and torturous conditions at the camp, which the Israeli government built in October 2023, are stark reminders of the same fascist supremacy our ancestors lost their lives to.
We know that torture and humiliation are tools of all repressive regimes to punish and destroy the spirit of anyone who challenges their oppression.
These violent systems are integral to maintaining the Israeli government’s Jewish supremacy. When we call for an end to US funding for the Israeli military, these are the violent systems we’re defunding.
From the US government all the way through to the Israeli doctors who failed to uphold their hippocratic oath of “do no harm,” all must be held accountable for these unconscionable acts.
We stand resolute in our belief that every life is precious. We will never forget the countless precious lives stolen, and we will carry their memories with us as we continue to struggle for a free Palestine.

As famine takes over in Gaza, the Israeli military is purposefully targeting humanitarian aid operations to cause a maximum of harm to Palestinians. 🧵
On Monday, Israeli warplanes repeatedly bombed a World Central Kitchen aid convoy as they drove away from distributing food in central Gaza, killing seven aid workers.
Journalists described how the Israeli military targeted the aid convoy "systematically, car by car."
It has become increasingly clear that anyone attempting to prevent people in Gaza from starving to death is interfering with the Israeli government's aims—the genocide of Palestinians.
The Israeli military has relentlessly bombed farmland in Gaza and killed Palestinian farmers and agricultural workers. This is intentional. This is ecocide. This is creating conditions of long-term famine. 🧵
The Israeli military is targeting Palestinians during peak planting season crops that are meant to feed Palestinians for the coming year.
The Israeli military's systemic targeting of Palestinian farmland constitutes "ecocide” — the deliberate environmental damage resulting from an excessive attack that causes long-term and severe harm to the natural environment.
Let us be clear: The atrocities committed by the Israeli military in al-Shifa hospital are the direct result of the US government’s continued support. 🧵
Today, the Israeli military ended its two-week siege on Gaza City’s al-Shifa Medical Complex, the largest hospital in all of Palestine, leaving it in ruins.
The military left destruction in its wake, murdering over 400 people, executing civilians, kidnapping and torturing hundreds of medical workers and patients, and destroying what remains of the hospital.
Land Day falls during the Israeli government’s genocide of Palestinians. With immense grief and rage at the horrors the Israeli military is committing in Gaza right now, we recognize Palestinians’ deep roots in their land as we support the struggle for Palestinian freedom. 🧵
We honor the steadfastness and resilience of those who have resisted land theft by the Zionist movement and the Israeli government, military, and settlers. This day commemorates Palestinian land defenders from every era:
Those in historic Palestine who went on strike to protest the Israeli government’s takeover of their land in the Galilee on this day in 1976;
The 2018 Great March of Return protesters of Gaza who launched weekly protests for 21 months demanding their right of return on this day;
BREAKING: Palestinian youth, descendants of Holocaust survivors, doctors, and climate activists disrupt the biggest fundraiser in the history of the Democratic Party at NYC’s iconic Radio City Music Hall calling on @POTUS to Stop Arming Israel
A continuous stream of dozens of disruptions from the orchestra through the mezzanine have brought the event to a halt, making it nearly impossible for President Biden to speak during his much heralded appearance.
The star-studded affair, which included President Obama, President Clinton, Stephen Colbert, Queen Latifah, and Lizzo, was forced to confront US complicity in Israeli genocide as banners unfurled from mezzanine reading “Stop Arming Israel” and “Let Gaza Live.”
Since the start of the genocide in Gaza, the Israeli military has set up 140 new checkpoints and barriers across the occupied West Bank, isolating Palestinians from their land, hindering their communication and limiting their movement. 🧵
Before October, there were already over 200 checkpoints maintaining Israeli apartheid in the occupied West Bank.
Right now, the Israeli government’s genocide in Gaza is a frontier for its larger project of ethnic cleansing across all of occupied Palestine. Since October, the Israeli military has killed at least 442 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and illegally detained over 3600.
