I was on my way to the next hospital I'll be working at for the next three months. I had heard about a bad outbreak of mad cow disease in Thorp, WI which was right on my way and the situation was far worse than I expected.
The prion causing the disease had clearly mootated and given the cows some strange powers.
The first thing I noticed was that the cows had picked up a chromatophore gene from cephalopods. They had started to use this ability to camouflage themselves in many locations. I stayed in my car for many of hidden camera photos, so I apologize for the quality of some.
Some weren't very adept at fast changes, and I captured this one after it had obviously been sneaking around in a quilt shop. I hope the owner is ok, but I found something that I will show later indicating that I don't think they are.
One decided to try to pretend to be a vegetable, thinking most people wouldn't fear that as much as a bovid.
One had gone the inorganic route and had taken the place of a street sign at a T-intersection. I think this might have been a ploy to get people to normalize bovid morphology in the city.
What became evident to me was that some were clearly trying to bait people. I couldn't quite determine what the end goal was initially.
I came across some evidence showing that this has become an international problem and not just limited to this small town. Perhaps ground zero was in Poland.
The next few images are rather horrifying, because I realized that this had become the Invasion of the Body MOOchers. The first I found was the replacement of a local dentist. Don't let that smile deceive you. I bet it had consumed the dentist and took over their practice.
Next I found that many city services had been taken over, almost like a version of Antelope, OR being taken over by the Rashneesh cult and being renamed Rashneeshpuram in the 1980s. The first seemed benign, but perhaps this was a ploy to get waterfowl infected as well.
It continued to get darker as I found their minister of propaganda.
The school principal...
The fire chief...
And the police chief had all been replaced.
The worst though was that I found that they were putting on a patina of patriotism and forming an army. God help us.

A few slides from my H5N1 pandemic deck that seem pertinent at the moment. Don't ask me to put them all up, there are 377. This particular one had to do with the 2009 swine flu.
1-5 This is weekly US COVID admissions. The dotted lines that drop in June last year is due to the requirement for reporting suspected admissions, so after that time, this data is only representing about 1/3 of the actual numbers.
2-5 This means that there are about 45,000 COVID admissions/week for 3/17. About 1% of COVID cases need hospitalization, indicating around 450,000 cases/week.
3-5 However, this is also a gross undercount. This image shows the percentage of patients being screened from a sample of hospitals. Note the caveat on the chart, but we can then assume that the figures are closer to double that.
"Our findings revealed significant attention deficits in post-COVID patients across both neuropsychological measurements and experimental cognitive tasks, evidencing reduced performance in tasks involving interference resolution and selective and sustained attention."
3-
Interference comes in two forms. External and internal. External are things like loud noises, flashing lights, and other distractions. Internal is daydreaming, thinking about other things while trying to focus on a task, etc.
Here's one of the most disturbing images I've seen in some time.
2- Zoomed in. The red pin is the Thwaites Glacier. I drew a red line around the Thwaites Tongue. It's the part of the glacier that is not over land, but over the ocean where most of the calving takes place.
3- This is a view from 2019. The important piece here is the Eastern Ice Shelf, which you can see is greatly eroded in the above images.
All Minnesota. Here's the full portfolio of templates that I will use for each state. If you have commentary on one, please reply in that part of the thread. I could also use another set of eyes for typos. I have them in the order I think would be of most interest.
2-COVID admissions stacked and stratified by age and hospital reporting.
3-Similar previous, but adjusted to account for the lack of reporting of suspected cases using a ratio of suspected to confirmed as a coefficient for the confirmed admission numbers for each age/date combo. This is only confirmed admissions using the coefficients.
