In 1943, Joseph Goebbels wrote an article titled “The War and the Jews."

The arguments he makes in it justifying the nazi genocide of the Jews are identical to the arguments the zionists make today justifying the zionist genocide of the Palestinians.

🧵with some examples.
"The Jews are our destruction. They started this war and direct it. They want to destroy the German Reich and our people. This plan must be blocked."
"The Jews are to blame for each German soldier who falls in this war. They have him on their conscience, and must also pay for it."
"The Jews are responsible for the war. The treatment they receive from us is hardly unjust. They have deserved it all."
"The Jews enjoy the protection of our enemies. That is all the proof we need to show how harmful they are for our people."
"They knew the good-natured German Michel in us, always ready to shed sentimental tears for the injustice done to them. One suddenly has the impression that the Berlin Jewish population consists only of little babies whose childish
quote cont.
helplessness might move us, or else fragile old ladies. The Jews send out the pitiable. They may confuse some harmless souls for a while, but not us. We know exactly what the situation is."
"They will never give us rest. If they could, they would drive one nation after another into war against us."
"Don't be too good natured, since our enemies are not noble enough to overlook our mistakes. If this advice applies anywhere, it apples to our relations with the Jews. Carelessness here is not only a weakness, it is disregard of duty
quote cont.
and a crime against the security of the state. The Jews long for one thing: to reward our foolishness with bloodshed and terror. It must never come to that. One of the most effective defenses is an unforgiving, cold hardness against the destroyers of our people,
quote cont.
against the instigators of the war, against those who would benefit if we lose, and therefore also against the victims, if we win."
Slight correction, the above tweets are from Joseph Goebbels' 1941 article, titled “The Jews are Guilty!”

The following tweets are examples from Goebbels' "The War and the Jews."
"The naivete, not to mention ignorance, with which certain European circles see the Jewish Question in the fourth year of this gigantic struggle is astonishing.
quote cont.
They cannot or will not see that this war is a war of the Jewish race and its subject people against Western culture and civilization. Everything that we Germans and Europeans, defenders of the principle of a moral world order, hold dear is at risk."
"Our state's security requires that we take whatever measures seem necessary to protect the German community from their threat. That leads to some difficult decisions, but they are unavoidable if we are to deal with the threat.
quote cont.
This war is a racial war. The Jews started it and they direct it. Their goal to destroy and exterminate our people."
"When dealing with the Jews there are only two choices: to surrender to them or to fight them. We have chosen the latter. As our enemy attacks without mercy, so do we. The future will prove who is right."
"There is nothing that they would not do to us if they had the power. We cannot therefore give them even the slightest bit of power. More than that, it is our duty to tell the world of their nature and their depravity.
We must again and again prove their sick role in beginning and carry on this war."
"The Jews laughed in Germany too when they first saw us. They are not laughing any longer. They chose to wage war against us. But that war is turning against them. When they planned a war to totally destroy the German nation, they signed their own death warrant."
For clarity: the extended spaces in some of the tweets are due to an unintentional issue with formatting while copy+pasting, not due to alteration of the quotes in any way.

Philosemitic Holocaust denial is, by far, the most prevalent form of Holocaust denial today.

Here are some examples of Philosemitic Holocaust denial:
- Erasing the non-Jewish victims of the Holocaust

- Treating the non-Jewish victims as 'accidental' or 'unintended' victims and refusing to acknowledge the ideological components within nazism that drove the nazis to murder them
- Removing the Holocaust and nazism from history. Demanding they be treated as completely disconnected from the events and the political forces that came before and after. Condemning comparisons between the Holocaust and other historical or ongoing genocides/colonial mass murder.

My whole life I was taught to be vigilant for instances where people spread accusations against a minority group to justify widespread violence against that minority group. I was taught about how these accusations, known as 'blood libel,' were used against Jewish people in europe
and were one of the motivating forces behind numerous pogroms. Jews were accused of using christian baby blood to make matzo, they were accused of poisoning wells and of spreading disease.
Of course, we know *now* that the Jews in europe were not actually doing these things.

At the time, the accusations played on the existing social animosity towards Jews and were enough to stir people to directly engage in or tacitly support violence against Jews.

I am seeing videos of Palestinian doctors refusing to leave their patients to die, operating only by flashlight, celebrating birthdays with tongue depressors as candles. I am seeing children evacuating genocidal carpet bombing yet caring for lost animals they find along the way.
I am seeing videos of people, sitting on a bucket under a tent declaring how proud they are to be from Gaza, how their head is held high, despite the warplanes, the tanks, the bombs sent to destroy them, despite the fact that the entire world conspires against them.
and I am seeing a resistance effort fight against their genocidal oppressor who receives nearly limitless military, strategic, propagandistic and financial support from the most vile and despicable powers that exist today.

Don't worry everyone, I checked the IHRA definition of antisemitism (which canada has adopted) and am here to assure you that canadian parliament giving a standing ovation to a nazi waffen SS veteran doesn't meet the IHRA definition of antisemitism
🧵
Let's analyze this:

Attached below is the IHRA working definition of antisemitism, lauded by the worst people you know as the 'best available definition of antisemitism.'

Is applauding a nazi a 'certain perception of Jews?'. I don't think so. Maybe? Hard to tell. Let's continue The working definition of antisemitism In the spirit of the Stockholm Declaration that states: “With humanity still scarred by …antisemitism and xenophobia the international community shares a solemn responsibility to fight those evils” the committee on Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial called the IHRA Plenary in Budapest 2015 to adopt the following working definition of antisemitism. On 26 May 2016, the Plenary in Bucharest decided to: Adopt the following non-legally binding working definition of antisemitism: “Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as...
Because the definition is pretty vague (I mean, seriously, what does "a certain perception of Jews" even mean? That could basically be anything) IHRA also provides a list of examples of antisemitism which "can guide IHRA" in its work. Contemporary examples of antisemitism in public life, the media, schools, the workplace, and in the religious sphere could, taking into account the overall context, include, but are not limited to: Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion. Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, g...

"so you think EVERYONE who refuses to wear a mask is a eugenicist?"

It doesn't matter what individual people 'believe' or not.

COVID normalization is a eugenicist project. The nature of that project doesn't change just because a lot of people support or are aligned with it.
A govt project, carried out with the help of corporations and the media, to repeatedly infect everyone with a deadly and disabling virus - knowing full well that said virus disproportionately harms and kills marginalized people - is eugenicist.

This is not a matter of opinion.
I feel zero interest in attempting to assess whether or not specific individual people support or are aligned with that eugenicist project knowingly or unknowingly.

Zionism is not and was not a response to the Holocaust. The settler-colonial zionist project pre-dates the Holocaust by decades.

The zionist narrative that so-called “israel” was established because of the Holocaust is a post-facto narrative created to justify zionism.
The zionist narrative that all Holocaust survivors were/are zionists is also a post-facto narrative created to justify zionism.

zionism is a settler-colonial project. zionism was a settler-colonial project before the Holocaust began.
But most importantly, even if zionism *was* a response to the Holocaust (which, again, it is absolutely not) that would not justify even one bit what the zionists have done to the Palestinians. Nor would it erase the fact that zionism is a settler-colonial project.
