April 19th, 1993 was the last of the 51 day long siege in Waco, TX over 'suspected' small arms violations. A siege that could have been easily avoided. A siege that took the lives of 82 people, 28 of which were children.
A siege begun by an agency absolutely desperate for relevance after absolutely fumbling another disaster shortly before.
A siege where the powers that be felt the need to bring heavily armored vehicles in as a show of force.
A siege that was ultimately viewed as a success, one in which individuals were given medals in private ceremonies and allowed to continue their careers in Federal Law Enforcement for decades.
A siege that was (and is still) openly lied about by the Biden Nominee for ATF Director, who has since bowed out of the public eye, where he claimed the cultists shot down helicopters with 50 caliber rifles during a Reddit AMA.
A siege that is still honored to this day.
Im certainly no fan of the Davidians, much like any cult, however none of them deserved to be made an example of with regards to the autonomy of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives & the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
So when some antigun idiot has the audacity to tell me 'nobody is coming for your guns' I know they're lying to me.
Give to & be members of gunrights organizations, be an active part of the community, put your utter nonsense aside and understand who your actual enemies are.

The fact 11 people got all the way to the “show up to the attempted murder of federal agents” thing should not be understated.
There is quite the chasm between ideologies in this country now and it’s just a matter of time before things like this become common unless some real cultural changes happen.
@RobProvince called the BORTAC ambush “raptors checking for weak points” like in Jurassic park and I’m going to have to agree with him here.
I'm gonna talk about some of the 'happenings' for a bit
And no im not here to wax poetic about the "legitimacy" of a war, or an individuals claims.
The development regarding UKR is a fine example of how the 'powers that be' wont always be there to protect/aid you.
Often I see people (gun grabbers) lecture others on what they should or shouldn't have to defend themselves.
Many of the people who call for the US to continue to support UKR turn around and call for the disarmament of their countrymen.
Palpable irony.
When the invasion first started the civilian population were being armed en masse, shouldn't have been necessary to begin with but I'm not going to complain about people being armed, even if it was late.
You're allowed to critique your own team, especially when the track record has earned it. Don't be such a bitch about it.
Send tweet.
I just watched a sizable number of you tell a kid he should have been found guilty in his landmark self defense case because he didn't want to vote for your candidate.
Quit acting like fucking children.
Shitlib gun grabber behavior, the fucking lot of you.
