31 years.

April 19th, 1993 was the last of the 51 day long siege in Waco, TX over 'suspected' small arms violations. A siege that could have been easily avoided. A siege that took the lives of 82 people, 28 of which were children. A siege begun by an agency absolutely desperate for relevance after absolutely fumbling another disaster shortly before.

A siege where the powers that be felt the need to bring heavily armored vehicles in as a show of force.
