The children approached their parents who took the claims to Duluth church leadership and were told to “forgive and forget.” Image

Former Louisiana catholic priest, Lawrence Hecker, has pled guilty to raping & kidnapping a child.
Lawrence Hecker, 93, former New Orleans priest, pled guilty to aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated crime against nature & theft. He initially denied the charges but confessed to molesting several underage boys in the 1960s and 70s. Sentencing is 12/18.
