#OverthrowingModi
This is not ISIS but the British terrorist group, The Guardian wanting to overthrow Modi.

The racist, ignorant, bigoted colonial, prejudiced, Woke @guardian wants to:

* Overthrow Modi's Govt.

* Encourage South India & Kejriwal to spearhead the effort.
All of you are invited to usefully employ your weekend, taking potshots at one or more of the following targets:

• Nehru was a great Democrat

• No contest of ideas in Modi's India

• Unequal treatment of citizens

• Congress Bank Account Frozen

• Kejriwal Arrested
• BJP receives disproportionate share of donations.

• Modi's poor record in inflation, unemployment & income insecurity

• Corruption is worse under Modi Rule.

• Economic development is benefitting the rich.

• India is more unequal than under colonial rule.
• Modi needs a popular mandate to legitimise his rule

• Request help to unravel what this may mean [Populist leaders run the risk of losing power to prevail over unelected institutions that uphold the rule of law.]

• Resistance to Modi is dangerous business
• Hindu nationalists seek primacy for fellow adherents

• Vigilante groups associated with the party violently police society.

• Only a mass movement hatched in the South which does not like Modi can overthrow him.
• To obscure progress in the North BJP militantly asserts Hinduism

• Kejriwal was arrested because he was trying to replicate the Southern Model in Delhi. This is a sign of Modi's insecurity.

#GlobalCapabilityCentres
"global capability centres (GCCs) or in-house technology & business process centres of global corporations in India will likely see a significantly higher net headcount addition in calendar 2023 than third-party IT/BPM providers

timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india…
"Today, these companies establish their GCCs in India to digitally transform their businesses, better compete against new-age startups, drive research on newer technologies, and develop pathbreaking solutions, products, platforms, and IP for global consumption".
"GCCs in India have grown from 500 a decade ago to about 1,700 today, directly employing more than 1.5 million professionals. This trend is no longer limited to Fortune 500 companies but is rapidly expanding to Global 2000 companies and beyond"

#APrimerOnHinduism
@irishtimes @the_irish_times

The first thing any Westerner needs to understand is that Hinduism or what we call Sanathana Dharma is QUITE UNLIKE Abrahamaic faiths:

* It is not a revealed religion

* There is no one Prophet

* There is no One Single Book
which is the Word of God, true for all times

* There is no Original Sin

* Unlike the God of the Christians or Allah of the Muslims, the oldest religion or Way of Life in the World believes in a Supreme Consciousness of which each individual Jiva or life is a part.
* Within this  broad framework there are many Schools of Thought. So one can even be an atheist and be still accomodated as a Hindu, with barely a raised eyebrow.

* As for numeous Gods, it is the English desire for equivalence which calls Hindu Deities Gods.

#MadhaviLatha
This was an electrifying and riveting interview with @smitaprakash.

Thank you for bringing us face-to-face, with an extraordinary lady, a mother, educationist, social worker, social activist and a change-maker with fire in her belly.

I hope the Hyderabad Lok Sabha Constituency, the people of Telengana and all Indians, the BJP, social and political organisations will band together to help elect Smt.Madhavi Latha to rescue the pathetic Pasmanda population there, who have been bottled up in ghettos by
the Ashraf Assaduddin Owaisi.

I want her to know, that her sincerity, commitment & courage will find massive support across India.

#ClassicalMusicToThePeople
A riposte to T.M.Krishna from Ranjani-Gayatri, -paraphrasing- not translating.
"
*Stated intentions of taking Carnatic Music(Classical Music) to everyone is great.

• What is NOT great is the methodology. Identifying villains & making oneself a hero."
• The most powerful medium at hand -cinema- has been used over the decades to take classical music to the people.

• Who wants empty halls to sing to?

... Everyone wants footfalls. Has anyone put up barriers to learning/enjoying Classical Music?
• Take any complex subject, say, The Theory of Relativity. Is it right to expect that any 10th Standard child should be able to understand it?

• What we HAVE TO make sure, is that it is open enough, to enable anyone who wants to understand it, to do so, without any barriers.

Amazing that the very sensible & seasoned @husainhaqqani finds a banal article of @salman_B_pk,with many hopeful "shoulds" & "musts" sensible!

The core problems in Pakistan are:

* The need to serve the interests of a disproportionately sized Army which is actually the State.
* And an enormously corrupt, power-hungry elite which offers democratic camouflage to it.

* All else, it's security posture, radicalisation, mercenary economy, Kashmir issue, relations with India, are hostage to these interests for the past 75 years & will continue to remain so.
* Why Pakistan, was itself born of the ambitions of a non-practicing Muslim;a pig-eating Jinnah who used a convenient religious 2 nation theory to create Pakistan.

* So, unless the ruling military & the civilian elite are overthrown, none of the pious hopes of
