As Washington DC votes to send Ukraine billions more in war aid, let’s talk about what they’re not telling you:
The War is Lost.
Here’s what we know. 🧵
Corruption remains endemic in Ukraine.
Consider this from Zelenskyy’s office last winter:
But even if the war materiel doesn’t get stolen or aid taken, there’s a bigger problem:
The US weapons won’t matter because there are too few Ukrainian troops to use them.
The rural men have already been largely slaughtered and urban men are hiding / have fled to Europe.
The lack of Ukrainian manpower is the worst kept secret in the West.
So let’s say it again:
There simply aren’t enough bodies for the front lines.
Our aid won’t matter. It doesn’t address the foundational problem of manpower.
Still not convinced?
One of Ukraine’s top Generals admitted it two weeks ago.
As leaders in DC and Brussels try to ignore or bury the truth about Ukraine, it’s still getting out.
The people of Europe know. They watch this war daily.
Here’s their conclusion:
That explains why Pro-War Republicans, Democrats, and the White House fervently wave Ukraine flags and smear anyone who challenges them as “Pro-Putin!”
But that’s actually the tell.
Theater is all they have. And threats.
Ah, but there’s also this:
The new argument is that Putin will march on Poland, the Baltics, and maybe Germany one day.
Believe the intel, they say!
Fine. Show us.
Shouldn’t be a problem. Biden has been declassifying the stuff for years to fight Putin.
Put up. Or shut up.
If they put up the intel, we must scrutinize it with great care.
Remember when we did this last go-round?
“Trust the intel! Iraq has WMDs! Saddam is a bad guy!”
Trillions of dollars later, lots of people dead, spread of radical Islam, etc… and it was all based on “the intel!”
To be clear, I don’t know what Putin’s plans are. But as a former CIA officer, I do know the Russians are a difficult adversary; Putin plays dirty.
I also know the relationship can be handled and negotiated.
Peace is tough but it is possible.
Unless… Biden doesn’t want it…
And that’s the real story here.
Biden & Co don’t want peace in Ukraine.
The goal is to use the country to degrade Russia.
It’s about regime change in Moscow.
That’s why DC doesn’t want this war to end.
That’s why Biden & Co keep sending billions in war aid when there are no men to pick up the weapons to fight.
Ukraine is the new Iraq and Afghanistan — a plaything for DC elites to tinker with, like they’re playing Risk.
But Biden & Co rolled bad dice.
It’s not Russia that’s been gravely wounded and degraded. They’ve bounced back. And then some.
The strategy has backfired.
In short, folks, Biden & DC War Hawks don’t give a damn about ground truth or dead Ukrainians.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. The Senate has time to kill this $60B+ war bill.
Brave Senators can admit what the rest of DC won’t:
This War is Lost.
Sue for peace. End it.

If you've been vaccinated for COVID, here's some news:
You are 2x / 3x more likely to get infected with COVID than someone who's unvaccinated with natural immunity.
That's a finding from a study of 260K+ people in Indiana, out last Wednesday.
If your child is vaccinated, their immunity from COVID is "considerably less" than kids with natural immunity.
Despite this, the researchers suggest that everyone get vaccinated.
Why? Well, the data allegedly show that vaccinated people end up in the hospital / ER less than the unvaccinated. Ah, but not for COVID-related issues. "All-cause health events," they say.
No, America should not bomb the Russian convoy approaching Kyiv.
The reason? Spies. In DC.
Let me explain.
To blow up the convoy, America obviously cannot use an overt approach — eg: firing up some A10s listening to Kenny Loggins as they light up some Russians.
That would be a declaration of war. Obviously.
So POTUS would have to lean on the spies and clandestine military operators for a secret operation.
But can they keep that secret?
What are the chances that Russia or their allies — namely China — find out?
I’m seeing lots of reports saying “US intelligence says,” and related frothy assessments on Ukraine & Russia.
Here’s why you should be skeptical, and ask questions.
First, where’s the raw intel from?
If human (HUMINT), is it just one person? Multiple people? When did they get the info? Where? How? Have they been vetted? If so, to what extent?
Don’t just assume the CIA / IC knows all this.
Look up “CURVEBALL” and you’ll understand why.
If signals (SIGINT), is it one stream (email) or many (phone, text, etc)? Did native speakers do the translation? Has the info been corroborated by other sources of intel?
Are the targets aware they’re likely being monitored?
