1) The last week is an object lesson in why we can never allow ourselves to react too emotionally to "this news" or "that crisis."

2) Just over a week ago, the biggest concerns were that Mike Johnson allowed a Uke funding bill to go through; that Rutabaga seemed to have . . .
2) contd . . . experienced something of a poll "bounce," that the AZ Supes had upheld the 1864 abortion law which would tilt AZ blue with abortion activists, and that the judge was chaining President Trump to his NY courtroom seat.
3) What a difference a week makes. New polling shows if anything Rutabaga has lost ground, especially in swing states; that the AZ legislature repealed the 1864 law making the previously passed (and far less incendiary) 2022 bill the law of the state---thus throwing . . .
3) contd . . . cold water on the abortion nuts and return AZ to a solid "leans Trump" position (as well as firming up somewhat downticket seats); and the imprisonment in New Kabul is working in President Trump's favor as he now mobilizes rallies there.
4) The insanity of the Kris Mayonnaise indictment of Trump alternate electors has been swamped by new voter registration stats showing the Rs in Arizona have now DOUBLED the lead they had over Ds in 2020 to almost 250,000.

5) By all accounts, lib and conservative, the Supes . .
5) contd . . . sent clear messages that they would find in favor of President Trump's immunity argument.

6) Meanwhile, though not good news, politically speaking the latest round of dismal economic indicators further pushes the "undecideds" to President Trump.
7) In short, it pays to keep a steady keel, don't get caught up in the "end of the world" scenarios and don't get too hyped about temporary victories.

8) As Jesus said, today has enough trouble of its own than to worry about tomorrow.

1) When Reagan introduced Star Wars, it was a myth that he said it would be ready quickly. Internal docs from the Reagan Archives show he expected a 20 year timeline.

2) But as it became clear that the Soviets & Gorby were frothing about it, the DoD decided to have some fun. Image
3) The first two tests involving shooting down a missile with a laser were failures. But the third was a success . . . or was it?

4) That was the story the SDI office put out--but it was a flop too. Only the story worked. Gorby figured we were by 1987 close to deploying.
5) Reagan offered a 100% elimination of ALL nuke weapons . . . but Gorby was so freaked out about the fake test he kept holding out for elimination of SDI.

6) The Gipper said, "Nope."

7) At Reyjkavik Reagan looked over his shoulder at George Schulz, SecState.

1) I been sayin' it and sayin' it. Ain't I been sayin' it? (Cue Russell Case from "Independence Day"): new polling shows President Trump beating Gruesome and Big Mike WORSE than he beats Rutabaga.

They ain't replacing Rutabaga. Image
2) Back in December Zen Master said the ballots case would be 9-0 for Trump; that the two federal cases would not take place before the election; and he has said the immunity case will be 6-3 Trump.

3) (He reasons that BECAUSE the majority will clearly be for Trump . . .
3) contd . . . the libs can indulge themselves on this.

4) WE BOTH said President Trump would clinch on March 12. (fact check: true)

5) I said ONE YEAR AGO when DeSoros entered the race, the race was over and Trump won.

@NoahWhey @ColBannister @Glenandjojo @DanielRStreet1 @tracybeanz 1) No. Get real. I'm serious, just stop. Apply historical reality. When Trump was first informed of the virus, by ALL government medical authorities, he was told (based on the Neal Ferguson UK "study" that 20m in the US would die. 20m!!
@NoahWhey @ColBannister @Glenandjojo @DanielRStreet1 @tracybeanz 2) CDC, the National Institute for Allergy and Infections Diseases (NIAID), and virtually EVERY foreign medical authority agreed with this study.

3) It doesn't matter that the study was later proven bogus. YOU ACT ON WHAT YOU HAVE.
@NoahWhey @ColBannister @Glenandjojo @DanielRStreet1 @tracybeanz 4) Images, fake or not, of people falling over in the streets in China & men in hazmat suits welding people into their homes was terrifying many Americans.

5) NOT ONE contrary voice about the Ferguson numbers came out for about a month---read Scot Atlas's book.

1) Listening to the squeals coming from the pancreatic poochdoochers on the left about the 9-0 (that's NINE ZIP, fungaldrippers!) Supreme Court decision, Zen Master and I thought it would be fun to trip down spoogie lane with these people. Don't step in the ooze!
2) Let's begin with this snotdoodle, Michael Luttig who came within a hair follicle of being named to the Supreme Court by W (among his other failures). In Dec., he called the unconstitutional attempt to ban President Trump from the ballot "masterful."
usatoday.com/story/news/pol…
3) Poor Mikey. His constitutional understanding is about as solid as his prediction that this goofball move would succeed.

1) From Zen Master: the April 22 hearing probably means we'll get a June ruling on immunity.

2) This has titanic implications, even in the narrow sense Trump has sought. For example, if the Court ruled that presidents do not necessarily have immunity for actions . . .
2) contd . . . during their term in office, then W could be charged with "war crimes," Obama could be charged with murder of a U.S. citizen whom he ordered drone-bombed because Obama called him a "terrorist," and so on.

3) This case would not involve immunity behond term.
4) For example, a president couldn't be out of office for 5 years and murder his wife and claim immunity.

5) So these are very serious issues that have VERY wide ranging implications well beyond President Trump himself.

1) So the failing neocon spoogebuckets like Charles "lil tykes" Sykes, Jonah Goldburger, and Bill Broken Kristol are whining that when Trump wins "conservative ideas" will die, and then they dishonestly tie themselves to one of our greatest presidents, the Gipper.
2) I know just a little about the Gipper. I worked an event in Santa Barbara with him. I have done more research in the Reagan Papers in Simi Valley than ANY other Reagan researcher so far.

3) They apparently know nothing of The Gipper. Image
4) Far from being a neocon in the vein of Nixon, GHWB, or W, Reagan from the 1960s on was deeply disturbed by the prospect of nuclear war. He said many times in the 1970s and 1980s he wanted to eliminate ALL nuclear weapons.

5) When Mikhail Gorbachev at Reykjavik suggested . . .
