Let me get into some details. Meet Nada Zohdy, she’s the one who resurrected the OGP for Joe Biden. She was also responsible for overseeing this gov org for 7 years prior to her leaving July 2022. She operated this thru the Open Government Hub.

This woman hates the populist right. She organized over 40 leftist civil society orgs in coordination with the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, at her beck & call during the Trump admin. The Trump Admin WAS PART OF THE RESISTANCE!
Trump let the OGP wind down, but never closed it. This was Nadas baby, then she handed it off to the Biden admin who resurrected this, & incorporated it into his Global Summit For Democracy in order to rule the world. What we are seeing today, is a global coup upon populists, which is us.

The Biden White House has regained control of the OGP, like when it started, but here’s some recent past history:

“2021 & 2022 provide an opportunity, unprecedented in recent decades, to turn back the tide of authoritarianism internationally. In particular, there are a variety of regional, global, & economic meetings where good governance & rule of law are central themes.
