🔥More evidence of government linked anti right organizing during the Trump admin! This time including USAID and the CIA’s NED!
This is Part 4 of my series on the Open Government Hub and the Open Government Partnership.
Series recap: Recall the Hub (OGH) was at the same exact address as the Open Government Partnership (OGP). And the Global Network Lead of the Obama Fndn, Nada Zohd, is a director at the hub.
The hub ran an event and had a Serbian Otpor founder and its associated Rhize there. Nada had been a board member at Rhize.
And also, the Open Government Partnership is a gov ran, “inside the beltway affair”, and is a MEMBER of the Open Government Hub. So these two orgs can mingle. And mingle they do, here’s an example:
- Civicus United States -
Here they discuss rising up against “anti-rights” groups (ARG). Essentially, right-wing folks are included in ARG. And USAID was there!
Let’s continue with the report:
August 2019, Open Gov Hub in Washington, DC
Convening organizations: Plan International and Open Gov Hub
Focus of the session:
Anti-Rights Groups, their effect on young people, and young people’s responses to them.
Dialogue participants:
Number of participants and gender distribution
24 – 17 female and 7 male
Specific groups represented:
Mix of DC-based organisations, including:
- USAID ❗️
- Open Government Partnership❗️
- Open Gov Hub❗️
- National Endowment for Democracy + You for Democracy❗️
- Rhize (Serbian Otpor trainers)❗️
- Plan International
- Accountability Lab (OGH member )
- Global Integrity
- plus more, see photo
Here’s a prized quote:
“March for our Lives was a good example of youth claiming protest spaces”
(March for Our Lives is a student-led org which leads demonstrations in support of gun control legislation. It took place in DC on March 24, 2018)
This report discusses what anti rights groups are, but their international report covers it more extensively. It’s 💯 includes right-wing nationalists and populists.
Feel free to view the photos of the US event but I’m going to head into the international report.
Here’s some wild quotes:
“Anti-rights groups are political and often partisan, and are often part of the machinery by which right-wing populism and nationalism are being advanced. Right-wing populist politicians and anti-rights groups attack excluded groups and civil society, because populist narratives are based on such attacks and these targets must be subdued to enable the exercise of power; the notion of ‘the people’ that populism narrowly defines and appeals to sits entirely at odds with civil society’s inclusive understanding of citizenship.”
“10 civil society dialogues involving over 400 civil society practitioners, convened in Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nigeria, Tanzania and the USA by CIVICUS members and the CIVICUS secretariat between June and August 2019.”
“Anti-rights groups are now more confident, more visible and better resourced. They have grown in success through winning support from sections of the public, and they are doing so because their narratives are resonating with some people. They are shaping public narratives, including through DISINFORMATION and manipulation, and are SOWING HATRED and division. They are both helping to make and benefiting from a change in the political weather in many contexts, in which RIGHT-WING populism and narrow nationalism are on the rise.”
“Anti-rights groups are both helping to make and benefiting from recent political shifts. In many countries sections of the public are embracing right-wing populism and nationalism, and populist and nationalist leaders are coming to power.”
Who is Civicus?
“CIVICUS has representation at UN Headquarters in New York (Home of the UN General Assembly and governance body for the Sustainable Development Goals) & the United Nations office in Geneva (Home of the UN Human Rights Council).”
I’ll share more quotes and sources next.
🔥Why Trump is being targeted and these quotes will explain why all targeting should cease immediately! Keep reading!
First I’ll link the two referenced docs, so you can start reading right away. Then quote like a banshee.
(And PS, these docs are backed up two ways. There’s no sense in deleting them.)
1. Civicus US 2019 event.
2. Civicus 2019 report in the international events held including the one linked above. (See photos)
“High-profile election victories – among them those of President Donald Trump in the USA, President Rodrigo Duterte in the Philippines and the UK’s Brexit referendum in 2016, President Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil in 2018, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s landslide re-election win in India in 2019 and the League/Five Star Movement coalition that governed Italy from June 2018 to September 2019 – were game-changing moments for many anti-rights groups, who saw their side making major advances.
“...after the Brexit vote and the Trump victory, they are emboldened. The latest developments in Hungary and
Poland are also proof to them that they may be closer to winning.”
“And Betsy DeVos is currently the Trump administration’s Secretary of Education... We need to go through all these layers to understand why these groups exist, how sophisticated they are and why they are so difficult to remove.”
“In the worst cases, some states have effectively been co-opted by anti-rights groups, who have been able to weaken state institutions and circumvent constitutional safeguards to insert their leaders into key institutions. In such instances, as a result of co-option, anti-rights groups are able to drive divisive state agendas and attack civil society voices that oppose them.”
“Uma Mishra-Newbery connects the growing role and confidence of anti- rights groups that attack women’s rights in international forms to their funding from conservative foundations, which also support the regressive Trump administration.”
“Regressive states are enabling these attacks. In President Trump’s USA, for example, abortion rights and LGBTQI rights are under attack and the government’s international aid no longer provides any support to organisations that promote family planning.”
“One increasingly influential anti-rights group at the international level is the Center for Family and Human Rights (C-Fam), a US-based hardline anti-abortion group. Formerly a fringe group whose use of hate speech left it isolated, it has become an inside favourite of the Trump administration, and has been part of official US CSW delegations. Its status with the US government has given it scope for international influence.”web.archive.org/web/2020010721…

🔥Explosive Information! I found video of Samantha Power speaking on Jan 10, 2013 at the Open Government Hub grand opening event.
This hub also houses the Open Government Partnership. And wouldn’t you know, she brings up Open Society and how handy the hub is for the government.
Folks after reading this post, you should 100% understand what is happening here.
This is part 6 of my series. And before we get to the video, let me remind you:
1. The Global Network Lead of the Obama Fndn, Nada Zohd, was the director at the Open Government Hub from 2015 to July 2022. Yes, during the Trump admin too!
2. The Open Government Hub ran an event during the Trump admin, with a Serbian Otpor founder and its associated RHIZE trainers were there too.
3. Obamas Indivisible was involved in the Serbian Otpor ran on Trump. Otpor defined is the resistance.
4. Nada had been a board member at the Serbian Otpor trainers, RHIZE.
5. Civicus held another event at the Open Government Hub, during the Trump admin, with the Open Government Partnership as a participant. Other participants there were Rhize the Serbian Otpor trainers, the US state dept, USAID, and the CIA NED.
6. Well guess what? It gets even worse. Civicus and Article 19 are both CURRENT members of the Open Government Partnership. And so is Carnegie Endowments.
7. Civicus is an adamant Trump and conservative hater and wants us removed. Article 19 hates conservatives too. (A Biden admin gov program is using folks that want to destroy us!)
8. Bidens CIA Director used to be president of Carnegie Endowments.
Now on to the video.
Samantha Power starts off commenting that the hub is centrally located with the White House a couple blocks away in one direction and the State Dept a couple blocks in the other direction. And there are a zillion departments and agencies who would really benefit.
She went on saying that this is Obama’s signature, governance initiative.
Here’s a couple quotes:
“The challenge of conversion still exists, I find. With other governments, officials in my own government, with citizens and other groups around the world who don’t self identify with this space.”
Yada yada yada…
“Art imitates life like this space imitates life. This spaces seems to be predicated on the logic of open government, OPEN SOCIETY, open idea sharing, information sharing, it’s great.”
Then she comments on, “our OGP experiment while waving her papers at the OGH sign.
After watching this video it couldn’t be more obvious that we have gov operations here without .gov web addresses nor FOIA.
Sources to follow as always.
As exhausted as we all feel, it’s nice to know that conservatives are so difficult to be REMOVED by our own government.
This here is Civicus and is PARTNERED with the Biden admins Open Government Partnership.
“And Betsy DeVos is currently the Trump administration’s Secretary of Education... We need to go through all these layers to understand why these groups exist, how sophisticated they are and why they are so difficult to remove.”
Read more Quotes from them and access this doc inside the. 🧵 👇🏻
It would be nice for me to share the current Open Government Partnership partners.😹
I’m only familiar with a few, so things could potentially get much worse than they already are.

🔥 Breaking! The Obama WhiteHouse along with the state dept was at TWO Open Government Hub events held for the Open Government Partnership!
And Samantha Powers was at the Open Government Hub grand opening on January 10, 2013 too!
This is Part 5 of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) and Open Government Hub series (OGH).
So we not only had the Serbian Otpor folks, State Dept, and USAID at the OGH, we had White House staff there too! I’m telling you, we had Government operating out of this hub! And here it is!
Here’s the first event:
“Open Government Partnership (OGP)
Criteria & Standards Subcommittee Meeting Minutes
Open Government Hub, Washington, D.C, USA February 23-24, 2016”
See the attached participant list but here’s the United States ones:
1. Corinna Zarek, White House, Office of Science Technology Policy
2. Camille Eiss, Department of State
Of course there was discussions of OGP steering committee involvement which is led and financed by the US government.
But remember Civicus being at a OGH event? The folks that want to wipe out the right? This OGH event was precipitated by a complaint from Dr Danny Sriskandarajah, Secretary General, of CIVICUS and two others.
Now here’s the next event, and I’m certain that there are more:
“Open Government Partnership (OGP)
Criteria & Standards Subcommittee Meeting Minutes
Open Government Hub, Washington, D.C, USA March 9-10, 2015”
USA Participants
1. Lawrence Sperling, Department of State
2. Corinna Zarek White House, Office of Science and
Technology Policy
Today, I also want to further clarify the cozy relationship of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) and the Open Government Hub (OGH). There was a reason they were at the same address, as well as others.
But first let me remind you that the OGP was an Obama created org. So no wonder a Global Network Leader at his foundation led it, even over the entire Trump admin.
“President Obama launched the Open Government Partnership (OGP) in 2011 at the U.N. General Assembly meeting with seven other heads of state and an equal number of leaders from civil society. The OGP has grown to a global coalition of 64 governments and hundreds of civil-society orgs.”
“Since its inception, the United States has supported the work of the Partnership, including by serving on the OGP Steering Committee, providing critical financing to the OGP Support Unit and supporting NAP implementation around the world.”
And the OGP operated in the beltway loop, aka intelligence community.
2022: “OGP in the United States has always been a primarily “inside of
the Beltway” affair,”
The OGP was actually at the beginning, at the White House, and there was talk in 2022 of placing it back there.
So let’s review a little bit of their early history. And you’ll see why they are all so cozy. I’ll follow this 🧵 with photos so you get a glimpse.
“The OpenGov Hub is an intentionally themed SHARED office space – our only membership criterion is a fit within the "opengov" theme. This means the OpenGov Hub is uniquely positioned to explore how physical co-location can promote and deepen meaningful collaboration across organizations working on similar issues.”
“The 20,000 square foot Hub serves as the physical home of 35+ organizations (mostly international development nonprofits) and over 150 people promoting diverse “opengov" reforms.”
The Open Government Partnership was actually one of the first original members at the Open Government Hub. See the 1st photo? See the big sign on the right saying OGH? On the left, you see the OGP placard along with the other first members.)
So what did the working conditions there look like? It was one big happy commune. 🥳
They also had lots of events with food and drinks, and also lots of parties with food and drink. 🥳
The first photo is their 2014 launch party. Second is the one year anniversary. Third is their first happy hour. And the fourth shows their DevCliches Rehab Night. Gee who wouldn’t want to work there? 🥳
🚨 Folks, this may be my most massive find ever!! Serbian Otpor visited the Open Government Hub! And Otpor training is directly linked to its director too! This is a government ran org folks, this is serious.
This is Part 3 of my series on the Open Government Hub and the Open Government Partnership.
Recall the Hub (OGH) was at the same exact address as the Open Government Partnership (OGP). And the Global Network Lead of the Obama Foundation, Nada Zohd, is a director at the hub.
Well, the Hub (OGH) had a Serbia Otpor Founder, Ivan Marovic, at one of their events! They also had the Rhize (Linked) CEO and Director of global training there too.
Now read this:
“In 2016 Ivan Marovic designed and developed Global Coaching Corps for Rhize, a US based organization and did their fellowship.”
Do you know who is a board member of Rhize? None other than the Obama Foundation Global Network Lead, and Open Government Hub director, Nada Zohdy.
And get this, they even mentioned how the Otpor model was adapted for the United States!
Just remember that Obama’s OFA and Indivisible used Otpor for the resistance. Otpor defined is the resistance.
So now we have BOTH OFA and the Obama Foundation linked to Otpor!
And don’t you forget that Nadas hub report (doc), said that that the Open Government Partnership is an “inside the beltway affair”.
Here it is!
Rhize x Open Gov Hub: How Movement-Building Is Reshaping Social Change
Thursday, January 17, 2019
At: Open Gov Hub
“We invite you to join a conversation with Erin Mazursky CEO of Rhize and Ivan Marovic a co-founder of the Otpor Student Movement of Serbia and Rhize's Director of Global Training about the way that today's social movements are reshaping approaches to social change.
Over the last eighteen months, Rhize launched its first regional coaching network in eastern and central Africa with the idea that investing in local knowledge and leadership, we could create a new model for scaling support to grassroots movements.
The impact far surpassed expectations -- with an investment in 8 coaches in 5 countries, Rhize managed to provide support to 25 movements, over 1500 activists, and develop close to 70 new trainers equipped to support emerging movements in just one year. The impacts have provided tangible impact like helping a small Nairobi community gain access to potable drinking water to the emergence of a women's movement in Uganda to catalyzing a true community of peers and mentors that support one another with solidarity.
Join us for a conversation about how this model is being adapted in additional contexts like the U.S. and Thailand. And how it can have broader implications for the social change "sector" and how we think about supporting civil society in this age of movements.”
Have I finally found the holy grail?
Sources to follow.
Sourcing will be short and sweet.
Here’s Otpors co-founder, Ivan Marovic, and Rhize’s event at the Open Government Hub.
Click “view details” and then click “view all event details” to see everything.
Here’s where it shows Nada is the Director of the Open Government Hub. And that she is a board member of Rhize.
And here’s the Open Government Hubs event listing where I got this from.
Serbian Otpor is used by the CIA for regime change.
Ivan Marovic biography:
- Serbian Otpor Co-founder
- Rhize Otpor training
- African Coaching Network
- United States Institute of Peace
- International Center On Nonviolent Conflict
“Ivan Marovic is an organizer, software developer and social innovator from Belgrade, Serbia. He was one of the leaders of Otpor, a youth movement which played a critical role in the downfall of Slobodan Milosevic, Serbian strongman in 2000.
Since then he’s been advising numerous pro-democracy groups around the world and became one of the leading educators in the field of strategic nonviolent conflict. In the last two decades Ivan has been designing and developing learning programs on civil resistance and movement building, and supporting the development of training organizations, such as Rhize and the African Coaching Network.
In 2016 Ivan designed and developed Global Coaching Corps for Rhize, a US based organization, and implemented their Fellowship Program which is in its third year; he helped establish African Coaching Network, a network of trainers working in several African countries.
Ivan has also been recruited by United States Institute of Peace to head the development of their Coach-Mentor team within SNAP (Synergizing Nonviolent Action and Peacebuilding Program), one of USIP’s newest programs. What all these projects have in common is the development of learning communities and transnational networks of educators and practitioners of civil resistance and movement building.”
🔥Breaking! Part 2 of the Obama Foundation Global Network Lead working globally inside the Trump administration through the Open Government Partnership (OGP)! And working with leftist orgs at the same time!
First, Scytle currently has the OGP listed as a customer! Thanks to @1UpMore128339 for pointing this out. This is pretty huge!
Scytl's products cover the entire election process, including election planning, online voter registration, poll worker management, electronic ballot delivery, online voting, results consolidation and election night reporting
Also, an ASOG report commissioned by Trump before the 2020 election references an article. I’ll go into it further later in this 🧵:
How the intelligence community controls your vote:
“Scytl, appears to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of the intelligence community.”
Here’s the May 2017 OGP partners. This date was chosen since it was under the early Trump admin days.
- Booz Allen
- Amazon
- World Bank Group
- UN Global Partnership For Sustainable Development Data
-Microsoft
- Etc
Now for the OGP funders, First, I found it odd that the Ford Fndn donated money to the NDI for the OGP in Nov 2016.
Now here’s the OGP funders from during the Trump presidency:
Private funders
- Soros Open Society
- Omidyar Luminate
- Ford Fndn
- William and Flora Hewlett Foundation
Agency funders
- State Dept
- USAID
- French Embassy to US
- UK Dept For International Development
- International Development Research Centre
Here’s a few of the 2018 Hub (OGH) members and the earliest I could find. Many on the list of 40 are leftist:
- National Democratic Institute (NDI)
- International Republican Institute (IRI)
- OGP
- Article 19
- Global integrity
- Climate Justice Alliance
- Ushahidi (Past member)
- Thousand Currents
- Fair Trials
- Root Change
- Etc
Now remember this all works inside the US too.
I also forgot to show this from the doc in the below thread, the OGP is a “inside the beltway” org.
“The U.S. has never had an ongoing multi-stakeholder forum, and still has none. Even when it briefly attempted this, OGP in the United States has always been a primarily “inside of the Beltway” affair, despite the best intentions of many involved.”
Now I have already proven that the OGP and the Open Government Hub (OGH) shared the same address. 😬 Let’s start with the hub that Nada Zohdy ran.
Here’s some quotes from the Jan 2018, “Defending Democracy: Populism and Corruption”, page on the hub. They refer to the right wing as populists.
“Several countries throughout Europe as well as the United States have witnessed a recent surge of populist movements. At the same time, these populist sentiments are sometimes harnessed and manipulated by politicians to consolidate their own personal wealth and power, and in doing so serve to further corruption (defined as the abuse of entrusted power for private gain).
How can the link between populism and international corruption help us understand phenomena like Brexit and the rise of Trump?
Why are we seeing a surge of populism in Europe and the United States today, including in some cases populism with a nativist bent (that stokes targeting of immigrants, minorities and communities perceived as other)?
How can activists combating populism-enabled corruption be more effective in their work?
What are the consequences of populism on the state of democracy, including for the civil rights and liberties of targeted communities in particular and of all citizens/residents in general?”
I’ll share some more choice articles from the Hub and sources after.
Looks like I owe you a few things here. I wanted to handle part 3 first, because it’s pretty huge.
Serbian Otpor is linked to the Open Government hub which sat at the same address as the USA GOVERNMENTS Open Government Partnership.
In my mind, same address, same org.
Address links to follow next.
This address business is a huge part of the scandal!
I’m going to cross reference the address business since one person was being obtuse about this.
They say the Open Government Hub is not a government org. “It doesn’t even have a .gov web address.”
The Open Government Partnership and the Open Government Hub once worked out of the SAME EXACT OFFICE! They lied to us!
🔥Breaking! The Obama admin operated GLOBALLY within the federal government during the Trump presidency! Part 1.
How you may ask? Well, through the Open Government Partnership (OGP).
Let me get into some details. Meet Nada Zohdy, she’s the one who resurrected the OGP for Joe Biden. She was also responsible for overseeing this gov org for 7 years prior to her leaving July 2022. She operated this thru the Open Government Hub.
This hub was the back scenes of radical leftist activities. 3 other orgs, at least, shared the same address as the OGP. One being the Open government hub that Nada frequented.(See part 2)
Nada is the Global director of the Obama Foundation. And she ran the Open Government Hub under Trump. Oh yeah, surprise!
This woman hates the populist right. She organized over 40 leftist civil society orgs in coordination with the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, at her beck & call during the Trump admin. The Trump Admin WAS PART OF THE RESISTANCE!
Trump let the OGP wind down, but never closed it. This was Nadas baby, then she handed it off to the Biden admin who resurrected this, & incorporated it into his Global Summit For Democracy in order to rule the world. What we are seeing today, is a global coup upon populists, which is us.
What we have here is gov led, radical leftist everything.
The Biden White House has regained control of the OGP, like when it started, but here’s some recent past history:
“OGP has bounced between a number of federal US agencies & entities, including: the National Security Council, the Office of Information & Regulatory Affairs, the General Services Administration, the Office of Science & Technology Policy, the Office of American Innovation, the Office of Management & Budget, &, most recently, the State Dept.
This instability has weakened leadership for coordination between implementing agencies & made civil society interaction difficult. In addition, IRM reports have documented ambiguity about whether the OGP process exists primarily as a foreign affairs exercise or a credible domestic reform process.”
“Senior ownership of the OGP process within government, led by the White House, is vital both to enable interagency government coordination & commitments, & to signal to civil society leaders that this is a worthwhile process for them to prioritize.”
In part 2, you will see that the below authoritarians are conservatives:
“2021 & 2022 provide an opportunity, unprecedented in recent decades, to turn back the tide of authoritarianism internationally. In particular, there are a variety of regional, global, & economic meetings where good governance & rule of law are central themes. This includes the recent OECD Anti-corruption Summit, the Group of Seven meeting, a special session of the United Nations General Assembly, OGP’s 10-year anniversary summit in Seoul, &, importantly, the Biden Admin’s planned Summit for Democracy.”
And this is where we get to the Biden admin being a GLOBAL LEADER:
“The final key ingredient for an improved US OGP process is making explicit, deliberate LINKS between DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL policy efforts whenever possible, to the mutual benefit of domestic & global reformers. This is an important product of the transformed political context & America’s ongoing democratic crisis. Biden globalization :
Multiple interviewees clearly stated that OGP can indeed be used to assert American leadership on many issues that require global cooperation.”
Bidens globalized courts:
“Criminal Justice, Civil Justice, & Broader Access to Justice Reforms
“Many participants called for a paradigm shift that reallocates resources away from police, militarization, and mass incarceration and towards equitable justice reforms for marginalized
communities. This includes rethinking justice- related data, clemency, criminal treatment of immigrants, policing, and sentencing.
I’ll give the history of the OGP started under Obama, and source this doc. Then look forward to part 2.
Things are going to get harry later on. But in the meanwhile here’s the documentation on the resurrection of the Open Government Partnership.
It seems that Nada, the Global Network Lead of the Obama foundation, has been listed as a director of the Open Government Hub in multiple places.
So it wasn’t just for this report. It was for 7 years as of July 2022 and including the Trump admin.
But in this report, it mentions the Open Government Partnership hired her to do it.
Interestingly, The Open GovernmentPartnership and the Open Government Hub both shared the same address. 😹(See next post)
“Open Government Partnership (OGP) hired the author (Nada Zohdy) as a consultant to conduct a series of five roundtables with American civil society organizations to understand what a meaningful next U.S. OGP Action Plan with the Biden Administration would look like. The result is this report”
“Nada Zohdy is the director of the Open Gov Hub (OGH), at Global Integrity. OGH is the world’s first meeting
place and innovation hub that promotes transparency, accountability, and civic participation worldwide, by fostering resource sharing and collaboration across a network of 50 member organizations and 13 global affiliate hubs. She has been a consultant on civic engagement and democracy reform for the World Bank, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Participatory Budgeting Project, and the Democracy Fund.“
Now let’s deal with that sticky subject of addresses. Government led websites that pretend not to be.
I’ve poured over web pages, and these orgs all came up. They all shared the same address at the same time.
1. Open Government Partnership.
2. Open Government Hub
3. Global Integrity
4. Open Data Enterprise
5. And we can’t forget Defending Democracy, tho I see no address listed, its ran by the Open Government Hub and Global Integrity listed above at the same address.
🔥 Breaking! Bidens global disinformation censorship plans further exposed! They are purposely targeting us!
A new document I found that changes everything! Biden is pushing a global anti populism & disinformation censorship scheme! And they are involving the UN’s SDG!
A little history first:
Recall I exposed Bidens 2021 & 2023 Global Summits to gain control of the internet & news. Their plans included using the, “International Fund for Public Interest Media”, with up to $30 million in USAID funding. The overall plans were to use the Internet & news to increase the, “truth”.
Anywho this was created by the NED etc funded, Omidyar Luminate & UK gov ran BBC Media.
(USAID? NED? UK Gov? Global censorship collusion? Essentially a CIA and leftist ran program, what can go wrong for conservatives? 👀)
This Biden initiated global censorship plan happened at the same time as the US and UK etc developed ministries for truth.
~Now for the goods:
I found the early planning document for this before Biden used it, & censorship & pushing “trusted media” was heavily built into the plans. With populism lumped in with authoritarian regimes.
They also discuss how Covid disinfo was a cluster-f without this marvelous plan in place.
1. Populists (republicans) are a bad thing, & there are too many of us on social media with disinfo:
“The people who feel most left out of society, both economically and politically, are those who often have least access to trusted, & trustworthy, information & platforms for democratic expression.
The rise of authoritarianism & POPULISM has often exploited & CAPTURED MEDIA SPACES best positioned to fill these gaps.”
2. They need to control the source of info to promote change in social norms & make you punish naughty political incumbents. Like perhaps Trump & Bolsonaro?
“Giving voters accurate
& credible information from trustworthy sources such as independent media or oversight institutions can CHANGE the prevailing SOCIAL NORMS, thereby reducing asymmetries & increasing voters’ willingness to PUNISH INCUMBENTS for poor performance, & bad practice such as corruption.”
3. You need to only get trusted information for elections. What happened in 2020?
“Elections are increasingly susceptible to MANIPULATION by those adept at exploiting big data (& those who pay for such manipulation). HATE SPEECH is on the rise & social cohesion, already often weak in fragile states, is increasingly undermined.
MISINFORMATION & DISINFORMATION has
become endemic, & access to trusted & trustworthy information from domestic media has declined.”
4. So let’s push trusted media only because disinfo is what’s dividing us:
“The arguments and evidence supporting the role of independent media in strengthening democracy & development are longstanding, widely acknowledged & largely accepted by the international democratic & development communities.
The COSTS TO DEMOCRACY & development when information & communication spaces are populated BY MISINFORMATION & DISINFORMATION, are fragmented & polarized, & when PEOPLE LOSE TRUST in the information they can access are only beginning to be assessed.”
“The VOID CREATED by weak or ABSENT TRUSTWORTHY NEWS & information is being filled by untrustworthy information.
5. This mentions issues with Brazil & WhatsApp.
COINCIDENTALLY, something did happen in Brazil with WhatsApp for their last presidential election.
“Evidence is growing that people in resource-poor settings are increasingly turning to PRIVATE SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORKS for their news – sources that have often been IMPLICATED IN spreading rumour & DISINFORMATION.
A recent report found that 53% of people in Brazil got their news from WhatsApp,”
“People in [resource poor] countries are far more likely to be part of WhatsApp groups with people they do not know than those in the West, which helps to explain
why countries like these are so prone to the spread of unchecked misinfo & disinfo.”
To be continued along with sources.
🔥Overwhelming evidence of the Biden admins global censorship plans:
1. This page on the Covid Pandemic really hit home on their plans. Essentially they are saying, “wow we could have really used the International Fund for Public Interest Media to control the info”.
“If an International Fund for Public Interest Media (IFPIM) as outlined in this Feasibility Study already existed it would be ideally placed to both resource and coordinate a response to these media and informational elements of the current
crisis.”
“The pandemic further accentuates the critical need for widespread public ACCESS TO TRUSTWORTHY INFORMATION especially in times of crisis. The Director General of the World Health Organisation (WHO) has called the crisis an “Infodemic”, where MISINFORMATION is fueling both the spread of the virus and complicating the response.”
“The CAPACITY TO GENERATE TRUSTWORTHY NEWS AND INFORMATION is being further undermined by the pandemic. Public interest media capable of PROVIDING THAT INFORMATION is facing an “extinction event” as
advertising and other income collapses in the wake of the COVID 19 crisis.”
2. The United Nations SDG are involved and mentioned often in this document.
“The Fund will also need
to explain or measure its impact on helping to achieve the SDGs (extending beyond SDG 16.10, ensuring public
access to information). Such issues will be a key role for the IFPIM Board’s proposed Donor Liaison Committee.”
Inside the document they discuss Brazil India and South Africa WhatsApp disinformation.
Well here’s a Misinfocon document that discussed invading private WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram messages. And of course South Africa, Brazil, and India come up. An amazing coincidence eh?
On a later date, you will learn about how folks private messages were invaded for disinfo reporting and propaganda circulation for Brazil. And ordered by Alexandre de Moraes. Even more coincidental evidence.. 😹
“The void created by weak or absent trustworthy news and information is being filled by untrustworthy information.
Evidence is growing that people in resource-poor settings are increasingly turning to private social media networks for their news – sources that have often been implicated in spreading rumour and disinformation. For example, a recent report found that 53% of people in Brazil got their news from WhatsApp, 52% in India and 49% in South Africa. “People in [resource-poor] countries are far more likely to be part of WhatsApp groups with people they do not know than those in the West, which helps to explain why countries like these are so prone to the spread of unchecked misinformation and disinformation,” argued Nic Newman at the launch of the Reuters Digital News report in London in June 2019.”
