It is an honor every year to recognize the selflessness and heroism of law enforcement and their families at the annual Medal of Honor ceremony. Thank you for sacrificing everything to keep our communities safe.
This year’s ceremony honored officers across the state for their bravery in the face of danger. Medals of Honor went to:

Detective Kenton Childers of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office and Officer Philip Hanks of the Pasco Police Department.
Detectives Edgar Salazar and Curt Ledeboer, Sergeant Kyle McCain and Corporal Omar Ramirez of the Moses Lake Police Department and Detective Korey Judkins of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Detective Greg Reiber, Sergeant David Beerbower and Officers Andrew Bond, David Pollett, Brian Sutphin and Patrick Thomson of the Puyallup Police Department, and Deputy John Munson of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
