The woke say part of white privilege not seeing yourself as having a white identity.
The woke want whites to adopt a white identity because they think adopting white identity is the first step to white people acknowledging the "white privilege" that comes with white identity...
The woke want *EVERYONE* including white people to develop "racial consciousness," to adopt a racial identity, and to then use that identity and consciousness to locate themselves in the social hierarchy of oppression. (the woke call this acknowledging your "positionality")
The same is true of "gender." The goal of getting everyone to adopt consciousness and identity around race, sex, gender, ability status, etc, is to get everyone to play identity politics according the woke rules, and integrate EVERYONE into the identity politics narrative
The way they do this is to get **EVERYONE** including white people, to adopt a racial consciousness and identity. Why? because in order for you to acknowledge your "white privilege" and take your place at the back of the woke line of woke IDPOL you need to identify as white.
The way that you win this game it to not take the bait, to refuse the woke terms of discussion and rules of engagement, and refuse to play identity politics.
Acknowledging you have a particular ethnicity is fine. I'm white, and I'm ethnically jewish....but here's the thing.....
I do not organize my politics around these things. I acknowledge they exist, but I do not want to be treated as though I am jewish or white, I want to be treated as Wokal Distance, an individual.
I don't want you thinking you know me cause you know my background....
John Searle (who is part Charokee) was asked why he didn't identify as Cherokee. When someone said "Professor Searle prefers to be thought of as white,'" Searle responded with:
"I find that ridiculous. Professor Searle does not want to be thought of in these categories at all."
This is precisely my attitude. And I think it is the winning attitude. Don't get caught in the nexus of identity politics. It's a poison and you ought to avoid it.
The dissident right (similar to the woke) always try to blur the lines between acknowledging an ethnicity on one hand, and building your identity and politics around ethnicity on the other.
You need to watch for this move.

Want to know how Woke activists take over buildings, smash windows, trash university campuses, and still have the press call them "non-violent"?
Well, as it turns out these are well trained activists using intelligent, highly developed tactics.
Here's a primer:
2/ First off: none of this is spontaneous.
IE: The protestors in the video going around have shields. (pic 1)
In 2020 we learned these shields can take hours to make and are made by volunteers working all day. You don't do that spontaneously. It takes planning. (pics 2 +3)
3/ Here's a thread on the shields used during the 2020 Portland protests. They are well built and are distributed to those wishing to engage in "direct action" (AKA violence and vandalism).
Not all shields are built like this, but this is typical:
1/ The United States government has been completely hijacked by woke activists.
The National Center for Environmental Health, which works with the CDC has a $200 million budget, is using Climate Change to advance DEI.
Let me show you just how deep the rot goes:
2/ The CDC teamed up with the American Public Health Association, and created a "climate change and health playbook" (pic 1) which the APHA says is focused on Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (pic 2)
They're using Climate change as an excuse to advance DEI.
3/ The APHA then does a definition of "JEDI" and as you can see it is just the entirety of woke ideology in the form of DEI.
Remember, this is a health care organization which is diverting taxpayer money to use Climate Change as an excuse to advance DEI.
1/ Woke "Social Justice" activists have hijacked and weaponized public health!
The CDC and the American Public Health Association made a Climate Change manual about putting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) into everything they do.
The Woke healthcare takeover,
A Thread🧵
2/ Critical Social Justice (AKA "woke") activists take over organizations in order to use them as vehicles for spreading woke ideology.
This is why the APHA and the CDC, which is supposed to focus on health, has pages focused Social Justice, Racism, Climate Change, and Equity.
3/ So how exactly are the woke hijacking health?
Let's look at that.
The CDC has created the National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH), which serves as a vehicle for using CDC resources to focus on such things as Racism, Climate Change, and Equity.
2/ Leftists don't pick up issues because they want to solve problems. They only pick up issues they can use todevelop leaders, train activists, and grow their "Grassroots Community Organizations."
For the left, solving the problem isn't the point....the point is to get power.
3/ The forward to the book that I have been quote was written by Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven.
Cloward and Piven are long time activist/academics and have been members of the radical left since the 60's.
They are very important names that you should know because....
1/ The ex-CEO of wikimedia, said a free and open internet is a "White Male westernized construct." Now She's CEO of NPR and is paid with your tax dollars to decide what information people see on NPR.
Woke activists hijacked every government institution.
2/ The first thing to realize is that this is not a isolated case. Let's look at some examples:
Kelisa Wing was a Pentagon official in charge of DEIn for the Defense Department’s schools. She gets paid to brainwash people with DEI while taking sarcastic shots at white people.
3/ The Center for Disease Control decided to make *Health Equity* core to its mission, they say that means advocating for:
-Free internet access
-Free access to bikes
-Policy changes in housing
They're advocating for woke policy using taxpayer funded government institutions
The incentive structure of the online attention economy is optimized for conflict. As such, there is no way for a purely online movement to obtain the stability required for long term political success.
