Starting 750 CE, India experienced waves of invasions by various Islamic dynasties, like Ghaznavids, Ghurids, Delhi Sultanate, and Mughals.

These resulted in the subjugation of Hindu kingdoms and the enslavement of captured individuals, among other consequences.

Following successful campaigns, Islamic rulers often enslaved captured civilians, including women, children, and men of fighting age.

These captives were then often sold in slave markets or kept as personal servants, laborers, or concubines by their captors.

Thousands of captured Hindu villagers were made to walk half naked and without food in the snow clad mountains

This caused a large number to die before reaching Kabul to be sold like cattle

The name of the mountain Hindu Kush means Hindu genocide

It is said that the markets of Kabul & Baghdad were so flooded with Hindu slaves that their value had become negligible

Men were sold for labor and young underage Hindu women were sold off for small sums to be passed around as sex slaves

The atrocities heaped on them was unimaginable as they were not even considered humans.

They were like farm animals.

Extreme labor, whipping, torture, rape by multiple men daily and forced conversion was extremely common

This continued unabated for almost a thousand years.

As recently as 19th century the Nizam of Hyderabad also used to keep sex slaves.

Mughal harems had thousands of captive women to be used as sex toys by the nobility to please them at will

The life of a captured woman inside a harem was beyond horrible.

Not only were the select ones expected to sleep with the emperor and his nobles on demand but they also lead a life of complete seclusion devoid of all human rights

In fact the Roma Gypsy population that exists in Europe today is mostly formed by Hindus that were kidnapped and transported via the slave trade and eventually found their way into Eastern Europe via Middle east

Arabic chronicles such as the "Tarikh-i-Firishta" by Muhammad Qasim Hindu Shah (Firishta) and "Tabaqat-i-Akbari" by Nizamuddin Ahmad provide insights

Travelers and missionaries from Europe, such as Marco Polo, Ibn Battuta, and Niccolò Manucci, documented their observations of Indian societies, including the practice of Islamic enslavement of captured Hindus.

This extremely dark and disturbing chapter in Indian history is a collective shame for Hindus and all should be aware of it so that we can reflect and make sure that never again in the future will be be weak enough to let others sell our people like animals in a market
