"diagnose"
Why's that important?
Because these people *arriving at ER* don't know they have POTS.
And it's POTS that's bringing them in to ER.
If she's "diagnosing", it means that the people have been struggling along with it and it has come to a crisis moment, and they've had to go to emergency.
And they didn't know they had it.
And that it's new onset.
If they've had it for four years, then it has got worse.
If they haven't had it for four years, it's being caused now.
So POTS, one of the most common expressions of Long Covid, is being increasingly diagnosed NOW.
It's causing need for emergency care NOW.
Do you get it?
Covid is doing this NOW.

There's loads of reasons, but in no particular order:
Covid makes people vulnerable to other infections.
So more people get sick, leading to a higher use of antibiotics and other antimicrobials to treat bacterial co-infections or complications.
Look, this is what the Cleveland Clinic say about Cryptosporidium and the immune system.
🚨"It’s important to take precautions to avoid infection with Cryptosporidium if you’re:
👉Living with HIV or AIDS.
👉Living with cancer.
👉A recent recipient of an organ or stem cell transplant.
👉On medications that suppresses your immune system."
Here in England there are about 100,000 people living with HIV or AIDS.
There are about 2,000,000 people living with cancer.
