1. The artist Øneheart suddeny rising 1500% in streams while charting nowhere outside Spotify.
2. Similar situation with lucidbeatz, whoever that is. Congratulations on those Panama streams.
3. Beyonce, Madonna and Michael Jackson suddenly becoming the topic of conversation in Saudi Arabia and Bulgaria.
4. These back to back Billie Eilish LUNCH song Spotify updates with the song rising in millions by the day and then losing 3M the next day.
5. Another song by another random artist gained over 14 MILLION streams in a single day with 85% of it being filtered. The song has since been removed from the platform.
6. Autoplay is taking over. Free accounts get played completely different artists than what they actually want to hear.
7. Autoplay is becoming the modern equivalent where artists pay/give up royalties for Spotify to play their songs after other artists.
The easiest way to recognize it is with strange catalog jumps as those are used as placeholders for artists’ new music, per Spotify.
