1/ IDF strike at Tal-El-Sultan fatalities stands on ~35 (CNN reports)
I want to share my observations about this night and how this event was covered by palestinians.
I will use the internal Hamza sub-channel, which focuses on field reports only ⬇️
t.me/hamz0831/125855
2/ The first report about the strike occurred at 20:47.

You can click the link at the first post and follow the events at Gaza Strip that night by yourself.

The channel is focused only on field reports and covers the whole Gaza Strip events. ⬇️ Image
3/ For the first 30 min, there reports about injured which arrived to Emirati Hospital.

30 min after, first report appeared about martyrs. On the image, 2 bodies.

Almost 1 hour after the strike, there is a first video from Emirati Hospital of injured palestinians.

4/One hour after the strike, there a photo of 3 bodies.
Palestinians uncover the face of the child, while other bodies remain hidden.
At 10PM, two footages:

22:41 another strike at Rafah

7/ At the same time (21:50-22:30), IDF conducted a strike at Nuseirat at Al-Ghussein family house.
A lot of images are posted and should not be confused with Rafah events.

Omar Al Ghussein and his 5 members of family names posted.

Later, 23:46, it rose to 9 with no details.⬇️

Since this moment till the morning, palestinians posted several pictures of killed children in previous attacks at Central and North gaza.
Additional fatalities in other strikes.

12/

After 12 hours, there is a video of body bags at Rafah.
In the video, there are ~12 body bags.

Remind you that there were also other fatalities at Rafah that night.
Officials claim 100 dead+injured and incapable to state number of killed.
Video of the strike area posted⬇️

I'm monitoring gaza internal channels since the beginning.
This event doesn't look like a massacre of 45-50 civilians.
IMHO, the number of fatalities is lower.
More than that, I think there were more fatalities in other areas of Strip this night than in IDP camp.⬇️
14/

In addition, except for 4 names, there are no names and details of the killed palestinians at this event. Even after 14 hours. Which is strange in comparison to other Gaza Strip bombing events.⬇️
15/
Summary:

The number of killed likely to be lower than claimed.
There are several factors that amplify this event:
1. Strike at IDP tent camp area.
2. Several graphic footages of killed children.
3. Focus (by the palestinian media) on children's fatalities' footages only.

🧵 After the ceasefire in Gaza, several videos surfaced, showing Hamas’s Arrow Unit using violence against Palestinians accused of various offences.
One of them showed a beating near a hardly visible ambulance
, (أسعاف)
caught my attention and prompted this investigation. >> Image
2/ I decided to check other violent clips from the same days to see if they were at the same place.
Step by step, matching anchors, it became clear the scenes were filmed inside the Nasser Hospital compound in Khan Younis, under the Specialized Kidney Diseases Support Center. >> Image
3/ Before I continue: the same full investigation is available on Substack, a clearer, more readable format for this kind of visual work.
It includes all sources of the original videos published by Palestinian channels.

🧵 The Israeli MoJ shared a list of 250 life sentence prisoners to be released in exchange for 20 hostages.
@TalHartuv shares his story, but some cases are from decades ago, and diving into each case is complex.
But, even the published metadata offers enough for basic analysis>> Image
Image
Image
2/ For example, a word cloud generated from the 'offences' field reveals the nature of the crimes committed by the released Palestinians, mostly murderers.
'Causing death intentionally' is the most common offence (134 occurances) >> Image
Image
3/ The majority of the released life-sentence prisoners, 63%, are members of Fatah, the ruling Palestinian Authority party led by Abu Mazen (president).
Hamas accounts for 25% released, and there’s even one ISIS member on the list.
56% of the prisoners will be deported abroad.>> Image

🧵 Throughout the war, there have been ongoing discussions about the reliability and content of the casualty lists published by the Gaza Ministry of Health.
These lists are released in large batches, without dates of death or defined criteria for inclusion.
During the war, I collected a few social media reports from palestinians about deaths that were either entirely unrelated or not directly linked to hostilities (accidents, internal killing)
In this short review, I compared some of those cases against the Ministry’s published data to see whether such incidents were included.
This thread highlights 20 such cases I was able to identify. >>
2/ The Gaza Ministry of Health has released 10 casualty lists so far. I used the publicly available versions via @airwars, searched for individuals by full four-part names, and verified metadata where possible. The 20 cases I identified were due to internal Palestinian killing, rocket malfunction, aid crate falls, wall collapses, illness, vehicle incidents and crowd crushes. They included 10 children, 5 men, 3 women, and 2 elderly. >>Image
3/
Reason: Internal Palestinian Killing:
– Amirah Ahmed Nmar al-Maghrabi (ID: 421146150)
– Siraj al-Deen Hsham Salamuah Shaheen (ID: 802069070)
11 June 2025
Location: Salah al-Deen Road, near the Nuseirat entrance (Al-Bureij/Nuseirat area)

According to the family’s statement, Amirah and Siraj were ambushed and killed in their vehicle by the Sahem (Arrow) Unit of Hamas. The family explicitly holds Hamas and the Gaza Police responsible for the killings.

– Amirah was listed in the Ministry of Health’s 23 June release (List 9)
– Siraj appeared in the 16 July release (List 10)

🧵 IDF Combat Fatality Cause
IDF Combat Losses During 21 Months of Ground Operations in the Gaza Strip

This thread presents an updated analysis (as of June 27, 2025) of the causes of death among 433 IDF soldiers killed during the ground operation in the Gaza Strip, which began in late October 2023.
For 421 of them, 97%, the cause of death was identified by me, based on publicly available sources.
This is a particularly challenging metric to track, as the IDF PR does not publish such details.

The data was carefully compiled from news reports, Telegram channels, podcasts, and interviews with families and relatives. >>Image
Image
Image
Image
2/ When looking at the final breakdown, two primary causes of death stand out: IEDs and RPG/anti-tank fire.
Each accounts for around 30% of cases — together making up approximately 60% of all IDF fatalities in the ground campaign.

Another notable cause is accidents and friendly fire, responsible for roughly 11% of the deaths.
An additional 7% were killed by sniper fire.

P.S. There is only one case of fatal ATGM usage in this war. All other cases related to RPGs only.Image
3/ One of the more important insights is the change in the distribution of causes of death over time.

In the early months of the war, RPG/anti-tank fire led IEDs by nearly 20 percentage points (40% vs 20%).
Over time, that gap gradually closed, and as of today, the two are nearly equal.

What stands out even more is the sharp rise in IED-related deaths in recent months especially since the resumption of fighting on March 18, 2025.
Looking only at this recent period, over 70% of IDF fatalities were caused by IEDs.

Is this a tactical shift by Hamas? A shortage of anti-tank munitions?
Hard to say, but it's clear that IEDs have become the most lethal and effective weapon in guerrilla warfare inside Gaza.Image
