I don’t believe in the russian opposition. I had zero respect for Navalny. But I always wanted to hope that maybe there are some “good russian” opposition leaders that could bring russia out of the Middle Ages. Unfortunately, my hope is almost gone.

2/ Just recently I listened Khodorkovsky's interview with Dud. Khodorkovsky is considered one of the “good russians”, one of the hopes of the russian opposition. In reality, he is still a vatnik, damaged and brainwashed by the russian imperialistic ideology.
3/ Here is a short paraphrased dialogue from the interview.
Dud: You supported the war in Chechnya. Your factories produced armored personnel carriers and assault rifles, which were used to kill Chechens.
4/ Khodorkovsky: Well, first of all, it was a “just war.” There were 25 percent of russians there, and Chechens began to oppress the rights of russians. Of course we had to protect them.
5/ Dud: Did you not understand that it was their war for independence? And you supplied russian government with weapons.
Khodorkovsky: Well, I grew up in the hood. And we had a rule - if ours guys fight, they must be supported, whether they are right or not.
6/ After watching the interview, I have no hope for russian opposition. The only way for russia to change is a completely defeat and break of the empire. And there is almost no chance that it will happen from the inside.

“Russia’s war against Ukraine has turned into terrorism. The Russian military isn't just bombing civilians. It's also targeting the laws and values that protect human rights.” 1/n
2/ “Russia is now carrying out acts of terrorism every day; this will have consequences for the rickety structure of international laws and practices that are designed to prevent such acts. And not only for the laws and structures:“
3/ “In truth, Russian forces are also targeting the values that lie behind them, the principles and even the emotions that led people to create them in the first place.”
Yesterday, russian border guards have removed buoys marking the channel from Estonian waters on the Narva River. Before russia's war against Ukraine, Estonia and russia used to install markers every spring by mutual agreement, but now russia refuses Estonia's proposal. 1/n
2/ This year the russia did not agree with the location of about half of the 250 buoys. Last night, russian border guards removed 24 buoys, some of which were among those that russia did not agree to install.
3/ This behavior is consistent with the previous reports that russia unilaterally seeks to alter maritime borders with Lithuania and Finland.
Norway has banned the entry of tourists from russia. The restrictions will come into effect on May 29 and will affect both those who previously obtained a Norwegian tourist visa and those who obtained a visa issued by another country of the Schengen Agreement. 1/n
2/ The only exception is a trip to visit close relatives, for work or study.
Minister of Justice and Public Security Emilie Enger Mehl highlighted that the position taken by Norway is a direct response to russia's illegal aggression against Ukraine.
3/ I have been advocating this for two years. The civilized world, including the US and EU counties, has to ban visas for russians. Not only it is a correct response to russia’s illegal war, but it also prevents an obvious security risk from russian saboteurs and spies.
A powerful visual argument why the US must allow Ukraine to strike targets on the russian territory.
House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman McCaul urges Secretary of State Blinken to allow Ukraine to use US weapons to strike targets on russian territory.
1/n
2/ Here are some points that he makes:
- Ukraine cannot achieve victory with the restrictions placed on them.
- The US administration is tying Ukrainian hands behind their back.
3/ - The reason the Congress allowed the transfer of long range ATACMS is so that Ukraine can strike russia's military deep behind the front lines.
Disgusting and morally bankrupt behavior from GOCCO and El Corte Inglés.
Last week, the Spanish clothing store GOCCO, a market leader in the sector of children's and youth clothing, released a new T-shirt with a crossed out flag of Ukraine. 1/n
2/ This disgusting and morally bankrupt behavior caused an outrage. So, El Corte Inglés quickly removed the item from their online store and tried to hush the scandal, but images of the t-shirt can still be found online.
3/ How can a children's clothing store promote genocide? How did this get approved for distribution? Why nobody was held accountable?
The only was to overcome russian tyranny is for all of us to stand together against it. Only together we will be able to overcome the russian evil.

2/ This week, the pro-russian government of Georgia has officially passed the “foreign agents” law. Basically, this is an attempt to solidify authoritarian russian grip on Georgia.
3/ The elections are coming up in October, and the ruling regime seeks to implement the laws now, giving them power to erase opposition before the election. Since 2008, Moscow has been gaining control of Georgia, but people are fighting back.
