This is one of the funniest books I've ever read.

Instead of cliché affirmations about happiness, it's filled with witty, sarcastic affirmations.

Here are my 10 favorite quotes from the book: Image

Recovering from knee surgery has been one of the most painful experiences of my life.

I went from being able to dunk to not being able to pick up my leg.

Here's a bit about my experience (and some tips if you're having surgery soon): Image
1) Start Prehab ASAP

Prehab = Physical therapy BEFORE your surgery

The stronger you get before surgery, the stronger you'll be coming out of it, and the faster you'll recover.

So as soon as you know you'll need surgery, get a prescription from your doc for prehab.
2) Buy Recovery Products BEFORE Surgery

You don't want to be at home in pain wishing you had a recovery product but waiting days for it.

Order everything you need a week before your surgery and set it up beforehand.

I'll share a list of products I recommend later below.

"Indistractable" by @nireyal is one of the most actionable productivity books I've read.

It's been recommended by James Clear, Mark Manson, and countless other authors.

Here are 10 key lessons from it: Image
1) Distraction vs. Traction

Distraction = Action that moves us away from what we want.

Traction = Action that moves us toward what we want.

You can't call something a distraction unless you know what it's distracting you from. Image
2) Distractions Tend To Come From Within

People seek distractions to escape pain.

Most of this pain is mental–like boredom or frustration.

That mental pain makes us reach for a distraction (social media, video games, TV, etc) to escape our discomfort. Image
