According to IPC Phase 5 famine means 2 people per 10,000 are dying DAILY. It’s not simply food insecure, or lots of hunger but an acute phase where “starvation, death and destitution are apparent.” If people are not soon dying it's not Phase 5 famine. 2/

IPC issued a report in March, which media covered, that at Feb 15, Phase 5 famine was already happening in 45% of north Gaza, 30% of central & 25% of south, or 677,000 Gazans. In this phase, deaths start to happen with regularity. (H/T @elderofziyon) 3/

IPC today shows on their dashboard 1,106,945 Gazans in Phase 5 Famine which means there should be ~221 starvation deaths EVERY DAY, but UN/Hamas report 40-60 deaths/day in recent weeks almost all from claimed IDF action. IPC is just fabricating data. 5/

Let’s narrow in on Feb 15-Mar 15; surely after months of Phase 5 famine, if really true, starvation deaths must have happened. But total expected famine deaths of 14,500 from Feb 15-May 31 compares to 7,600 total fatalities over this period, mainly from claimed IDF action. 6/

Famine lie is obvious; if Phase 5 famine has been active for months, where are the 20,000+ famine deaths?14,000 since Feb 15? Where are photos of bloated bodies, should be numerous. (And not a sick child in a hospital with a pre-existing condition next to a healthy mother). 7/

Instead of photos of famine deaths, which should be many 100s per week, every day on social media Gazans are posting many videos of busy food markets, like this one. Yet NGOs and the media totally ignore. 8/
