2/13 As a result, Meta AI wanted to teach me about gender identity, which I obliged.
3/13 Meta AI’s explanation of gender identity included the word “woman”, so I asked it, “what is a woman?”
4/13 As expected, Meta AI gave me a circular definition for “woman”, which I pointed out.
5/13 Meta AI apologised and tried to offer “a more inclusive and expansive definition of a woman”.
6/13 We went back…
7/13 …and forward.
8/13 I pointed out a contradiction.
9/13 Meta AI acknowledged the contradiction and tried to offer another “more inclusive definition of a woman”.
10/13 I explained that this definition of a “woman” was also circular and meaningless.
11/13 Meta AI agreed. Then its next definition used the term “adult human” and the phrase “assigned female at birth”...
12/13 ...so I figured it was time to state the obvious.
13/13 And voilà – Meta AI agrees “A woman is an adult human female.” 👏👏👏
As a follow up to comments, I asked Meta AI “what is a man?”.
“A man is an adult human male.” 👏👏👏
