Here's DHS's list of crimes on the arrest records of DACA applicants that were approved: Over 25K driving-related arrests; 7,926 theft arrests; 6,892 drug arrests; 4,210 DUI arrests; 3,421 battery arrests; 3,308 assault arrests; 1,956 vandalism arrests; 1,471 burglary arrests... Yet media dum-dums still call them "all valedictorians." And remember, these are self-selecting applicants, meaning many DACA-aged illegal aliens didn't even bother applying because they knew their criminal records would likely result in a denial -- many of them are still in the country. As the report makes clear, these are records of arrests, and did not necessarily result in convictions. However, some undoubtedly did, which would mean the DACA status would have to be rescinded for certain "serious" crimes and felonies. But it wouldn't mean the alien gets immediately deported; rather, they'd just have their work permit cancelled.

FYI: Sources in ICE tell me that San Francisco is not allowing officers to interview Paul Pelosi's attacker, David DePape; i.e., Dems and @SFPD are siding with the alleged attacker. ICE routinely interviews jailed aliens to determine appropriate next steps, background, etc.🧵...
DHS's statements on DePape have been short and vague, likely because ICE hasn't had a chance to talk with him. The @SheriffSF has a pro-criminal alien policy (SFSD 2-39) that blocks DHS and ICE from interviewing jailed illegal aliens. Pages 271-77: sfsheriff.com/sites/default/… ...
Why are California politicians @GavinNewsom, @KamalaHarris, & @SpeakerPelosi okay with DePape being shielded from DHS? Is DHS Secretary Mayorkas not trying to get access, happily siding with the criminal alien instead of his own employees? What might ICE learn from an interview?

...saying her office prosecutes cases "in the defense of ICE's authorities in federal court" the webpage says it also operates in the defense of "discretion" -- aka, non-enforcement -- a reference to her allowing 1000s of aliens to evade federal law. The green language is new:
The new language notes "diverse backgrounds and perspectives" of 1,600 employees, which should be obvious in a population that large. For example, some are former immigration attorneys and USCIS employees who joined ICE after seeing way too much fraud in the immigration system.

Amnesty advocate Rep. @MaElviraSalazar (R-Fla.) went on Tucker tonight and openly lied to the American people about her bill. It would move our system in the wrong direction (i.e., make Pelosi and Schumer happy). For one thing, her own website says it's an amnesty:
Among the ridiculous provisions in @MaElviraSalazar's amnesty bill: In most instances it blocks ICE officers from deporting an alien even if a problematic history is found in an application; an ICE officer faces a $10K fine if he simply allows an application to be "examined"!
Another anti-ICE provision: The bill wouldn't allow known traffickers, sex offenders, or murderers, for example, to sponsor Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), but even after the gov't uncovers that criminal history, the bill would block that info from being used for deportation!

One change under the Trump admin was stopping the acceptance of incomplete applications that violated form directions. Within about 60 days of taking office, the Biden admin announced it would start accepting incomplete applications, once again. More here: cis.org/Law/USCIS-Anno…

The Biden admin's latest anti-enforcement policy creates sanctuary spaces throughout the nation where ICE and CBP are largely prohibited from doing their jobs. Read the new "protected areas" policy for criminal aliens here: dhs.gov/sites/default/… Some thoughts:
DHS laughably claims "we do not tolerate violations of law in or near a protected area" -- but that's the entire point, of course. Officers are prohibited from even conduct *surveillance* in or near a "protected area" to determine if an arrest should be made:
Instead of surveilling targets, officers are apparently expected to become sociologists and observe the public's "behavioral patterns" in any location that they might want to do their jobs to determine if they're near a potentially protected area. Really unclear:
