Since 2017, ENS has evolved from a simple blockchain naming service to critical infrastructure for the Internet. With millions of .eth names registered and thousands of integrations, ENS has become the bridge between the traditional internet and the decentralized web.
As web3 goes mainstream and more users onboard, scaling constraints have emerged. Thankfully, Ethereum's "rollup-centric" roadmap addresses this with L2 networks. They offer lower gas costs and faster transactions, making web3 more accessible to a wider range of users.

Starting today, GoDaddy has a NEW section in their domain management interface called "Crypto Wallet" ✨
@GoDaddy Thanks to Gasless DNSSEC, users can now easily associate an Ethereum address with their DNS domain name (.com, .xyz, etc.), allowing seamless integration with all applications that properly support ENS! 😱
OpenSea has already switched to using this metadata for ENS names and is in the process of refreshing the metadata for all ENS names as of this writing.
