MAGA'S rejection of the political establishment, has led to an erosion of trust. The constant barrage of misinformation, conspiracy theories, and attacks on the media have created an environment where facts are distorted, and the truth is relative.
We've had ENOUGH.
Their attacks towards the media have undermined our free press. Labeling the media as “fake news” and “enemies of the people,” they have created an atmosphere where journalists are threatened, intimidated, and attacked.
We've had ENOUGH
Their admiration for authoritarian leaders with their open disdain for democratic norms have led to a normalization of fascism. They have praised strongmen and dictators.
We've had ENOUGH.
Trump's rhetoric and policies have targeted groups like immigrants, African-Americans, and the LGBTQ+ community. Trump's emphasis on “America First” has led to a rise in hate crimes, discrimination, and marginalization.
We've had ENOUGH
Their attempts to undermine the electoral process led to a crisis of confidence in our institutions. Their claims of voter fraud, election rigging, and voter suppression have created an environment where the legitimacy is questioned, and WTP undermined.
We've had ENOUGH
They pose a grave danger, rivaling that of the Civil War. Their ideology has led to an erosion of trust in our institutions. They assault the fourth estate, they have normalized fascism, and pose a threat to minority rights and the electoral process

Yesterday, in a post, I briefly mentioned a charismatic movement known as the New Apostolic Reformation, and I want to provide a bit more background on this subject.

The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) is a movement in the Charismatic and Pentecostal denominations.
The NAR is characterized by its emphasis on the fivefold ministry in Ephesians 4:11, which includes apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.
"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service,
Comparisons of Trump and Hitler are often criticized as hyperbole or for those who point out the similarities we are alarmists, but we can not ignore the rhetoric, which is similar to the propaganda employed by Hitler.

They both rose to power by exploiting nationalist sentiments. Trump’s “America First” policy echoes Hitler’s “blood and soil," of racial purity and the supremacy of the German nation. They presented themselves as strongmen who would restore their nation to its former glory.
A tactic they both used was the scapegoating of minority groups. Hitler blamed Jews for their country's economic woes and social problems, portraying them as a threat to the Aryan race.
As a historian, I am often asked to place current events within the context of the past to identify patterns and parallels that can help us understand the present. When it comes to the 2024 election, I find myself at a loss for historical comparison.

This is not because there are no similarities to be found but because the number of extraordinary circumstances surrounding this election demands that we consider it in a category all its own.
One of the most striking features is the extent of partisan polarization, and this ideological divide has only grown deeper with each party growing increasingly distrustful of the other.
The 1A provides that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”
This provision has been the subject of debate and interpretation. The Supreme Court has consistently held that the Establishment Clause erects a “wall of separation” between church and state, but recent decisions suggest that this wall is now nothing but dry rot.
The 1A was adopted in response to the Church of England’s entanglement with the state, which led to religious persecution and intolerance.
A more representative democracy under The WY Rule can be a solution to the issue of representation by increasing the House based on the population of the least populous state.
This would adjust the size of the House so that the population ratio of the smallest state, becomes the standard for all districts. With the House fixed at 435, the representation varies. This would increase the House size to ensure each district is close to WY.
The advantage is the potential for a bit more representation. Smaller districts mean representatives can be more responsive to the voters in the district, and this rule can be implemented without a constitutional amendment.
I found something Freud wrote about nearly 80 years ago on cult psychology and narcissism, and I wanted to share it with everyone because it is so relevant today.
