according to the walker county tax assessor's website, the russell womack listed on the real texans for justice paperwork is RUSSELL DEREK WOMACK
a quick google search shows that he used to book shows for a punk house venue called the houston house of creeps in ~2010
it turns out that the landlord of the houston house of creeps did not actually intend for them to host punk and hardcore shows there, so russell womack and his roomates were evicted in 2011, and then sued for damages and back rent in 2013
digging a bit more into russell's connections from this time, it turns out that his house of creeps roommate ran a blog and youtube channel where they documented their travels and interviewed punk bands. here russell womack interviews the hates
in other videos from this era (2009), russell sings the shins' "new slang" and deathcab for cutie's "i will follow you into the dark" while traveling through europe
unfortunately just after he got home from that trip, russell had a domestic violence charge filed against him in rockwall county, tx
somehow, despite that charge, russell was allowed to work as a substitute teacher in houston in 2010.
i haven't yet located any info about what russell womack was up to between the 2013 lawsuit and the 2024 pac filing that began this thread. but his background raises the question: how does a punk house kid become a founding member of a neo-nazi "coalition" in a decade?
UPDATE: i can now tell you two things russell womack has gotten into between his punk house days (2010) & his neo-nazi days (2024)
- motorcycles
- ordering illegal pseudo-steroids online

in the years since sines v. kessler, i have noticed far-right extremists adapting their playbook to respond to, appropriate, and weaponize the plaintiffs' historic win.
i think antifascists cannot ignore this, and i'll explain why 🧵
sines v. kessler was a civil suit in which multiple plaintiffs sued the organizers of unite the right in charlottesville. the lawsuit was about a "conspiracy to interfere with civil rights" under federal law, as well as virginia state law regarding civil conspiracy
the jury in sines v kessler returned a mixed verdict, notably not able to reach a decision about a federal race-based conspiracy. but they did find that all defendants engaged a civil conspiracy under virginia law.
good morning! yesterday, while i was watching the state try (and ultimately fail) to convict an antifascist of a crime outside a drag show in 2023, kelly neidert and carlos turcios launched a targeted harassment campaign against me. this is interesting given what i saw in court
the criminal case regarded events that happened when antifascists came to a fort worth restaurant to defend a drag show from kelly neidert and other protesters.
carlos's employer, the dallas express, had a reporter on scene that day who made sure to get images of the arrests
that dallas express reporter was seen chatting with cops, and trying to get photos or video of antifascists arrested and unmasked. the dallas express had also published a misleading story about the drag show in the days before the event
we began by taking up objections to the voir dire testimony we heard at the end of yesterday. the court sustained the defense's objections to evidence submitted with the testimony, so the state decided not to call that witness back in front of the jury
the state then called kyle randle, a former member of the christian fascist new columbia movement. he claims he left the group 3 or 4 months ago.
kyle was at the protest that day. kyle is also suing c in a civil trial related to the events of that day keranews.org/news/2023-09-1…
we began with the jury in the courtroom today, and the state finally called lt. delano, the cop struck by the umbrella during the alleged assault that this trial is about.
he had offered to put a team together for the protest/counterprotest back in 2023.
he was also the one who decided to stage the bike cop unit inside (where they ate pizza) so that their presence wouldn't "incite" the two sides of the protest.
he didn't wear a body cam that day. he said it "turned out" the body cam was in his vehicle that day.
kieran padraig morris of patriot front has started or joined a new active club in nctx, called the lone star active club. he and thomas rousseau appear in a video with their faces unblurred. video shows the club sparring in a fort worth park.
active clubs are white nationalist groups that practice "leaderless resistance" and train in kickboxing, mma, and other combat sports. there are a few active clubs already spread around texas, including in houston rollingstone.com/politics/polit…
recently, an active club in parker county (just west of fort worth), dissolved. some members were added to the houston area alamo active club
