Trump’s extensive reliance on 3 adjectives (“the worst ever” “disaster” “most embarrassing”) felt a lot like a crutch
He nailed Biden ONCE on his Medicare line but was much more unfocused given the lack of coherence on Biden’s answers

Mostly I was amazed that Trump’s inability to bring ppl to his level felt so jarring
Trump *not once* explicitly said “The my trials are personal retribution carried out by Biden against ME, his political opponent”

Trump badly flubbed an answer about rioting cities (accidentally veering into Floyd protests when HE was president!) and even his line about
“Biden is a Palestinian” was funny in an absurd way not b/c his intended point was made

Overall, Trump’s lost 5-7 mph on the slider. Biden was a Little League opponent last night so it didn’t matter
But these traits, which WERE there in 16 & 20, have clearly gotten worse. Biden isn’t going to get much better but…Trump is not Barry Bonds here
