1/15 Welp, folks, the time is right with the SCOTUS decision so I am going to write a couple of articles on the prison system and the letters I am getting. I correspond with several j6 prisoners regularly.

2 One of my penpals is K. Joe Thomas. He is in Memphis. He has no business being incarcerated for 5 years. Joe is a very faithful man. Has had a rough life. He is the one who started .Sing4freedom.us

3 Joe tells stories of gangs and all manner of "friendships" in the prison. He seems to know how to take care of himself but I still worry about him. Excerpts from Joe's latest letter:

4 "I have been doing well in here. I have the respect of all the different races, gangs and cartels. When I first arrived, a couple of guys tested me and cornered me in my cell. I used affirmative defense and they limped away knowing that I am not the type to disrespect."

5"I have become a source of spiritual guidance to several inmates here. Soreño, Tango, Bloods, MS13, Columbian drug lords, gangbangers, & bank robbers have dedicated their lives to Christ because He blessed me with this time in prison."

6 "One time, I was cornered by a small group of Tangos and they told me God would get me killed in here. My response was, 'So be it. Which one of you wants to meet Jesus with me because I'm not going alone. Respect is the most valuable currency in here."

7 Joe has a job in the prison now. Makes taffies and sells them. The favorite flavor is sour pineapple mango twist. "A knife was planted in my mattress and a drug called duece. I got rid of them in a way that no one else could get them." When Joe last wrote to me, he was waiting for the 1512 decision. It may shorten his sentence.

8 Moving on to Hazelton women's facility, a low security prison that doesn't behave that way. Rachel Powell is there along with three other women who also wrote to me. The conditions are horrendous. I will write more about this in an article.

9 BUT suffice it to say, the facility is admitting transgendered men and actual men. they are put in the cells with the women. Imagine how well that goes. Rape, taunting, all manner of terrible things. Medical care is either non existent or abusive. Illegal drugs being used.

10 one of the bios of one of the men who recently left the facility. "Michael Crystal. charge: rape of woman and child. 5 rape allegations, also raped his girlfriend. He was sent to another female prison. nothing was done about the rapes and sexual misconduct."

11 Andrew Phillips: child porn is charge. pressured multiple women to have sex. "40 years old. pressured a 20 year old girl in another instance. she was a drug addict. he paid her in drugs to have sex. He would do lewd things in front her another roommate when doors locked at night

12 This triggered trauma in her because she had been raped in the past. This need to stop for the sake of women's rehabilitation and safety. We need help. Please assist us in removing them from here."

13 There is so much more in these letters. Just know that most of the J6ers I know did nothing to deserve incarceration. They and their families are in living Hell. The sad thing is that most Americans still have no idea.

14 One of my daughter's friends visiting asked me what I was doing tonight and I told her I was writing to J6 prisoners knowing she had no idea what I was talking about. She didn't disappoint. So, for all of you reading this, please share it.

15. don't just "like" it. It just doesn't do the trick for spreading the word. Slow down, absorb what you are reading and if you are free to move, and eat, and sleep in peace, show your gratitude by doing something to change things in our country. I don't care what it is.
