In reading about Mao's reign in China in the 1950s, I was particularly taken by a concept and phrase I hadn't heard yet, one that the Communists used to absolutely devastate China and overthrow all resistance. They held meetings that were designed to "Speak Bitterness."
What would happen is that the Communists would come into a region or village and immediately place cadres and set up a nightly meeting everyone had to attend on various pains if they refused. They used them at first essentially as data mining operations with the people.
They would gather extensive biographical information on virtually everyone they could, sometimes quite detailed and including various misdeeds, cheats, and intrigues. They'd also start to use this biographical data to classify people into one of a few class categories.
Over the course of several weeks, the Communists would start the "Speak Bitterness" campaigns in the nightly meetings, encouraging everyone who held any grievances against their neighbors to speak out and air it all. The idea was explained as a way to get division out and open.
Villagers generally resisted the Speak Bitterness programming, and it would take the Communists several weeks to get people speaking bitterness against each other, or the nationalists, or whoever, but once they did, it was like breaking a dam. Everyone would start in.
Encouraged by the Communists, virtually everyone would start airing grievances against each other, if not proactively and voluntarily, in retribution for the grievances aired against them and the shame and humiliation that followed. Soon, everyone was trashing everyone.
The Communists frequently couldn't keep control over populations subjected to Speak Bitterness campaigns, which devolved into mass hatred, enmity, and often violence, if not murder, but they could direct the bitterness up the class hierarchy ladder consistently enough.
That is, the Communists could make the poor peasants hate the middle peasants, and the poor and middle peasants hate the rich peasants, even though the rich peasants might not have almost anything more than them (a second wok, a windowpane in their house, a little extra space).
As long as hate flowed up the artificial hierarchy, which didn't apply to most of the people it was applied to, the Communists were generally happy, although the violence and murder often broke out so badly that even the cadres were extorted to allow it to continue.
The result of "Speak Bitterness" was the utter destruction of entire communities, some that had worked peacefully together for centuries only to be torn apart in weeks by these nightly resentment campaigns of the Communists, all in the name of airing and settling all grievances.
Obviously, in the modern situation we find ourselves in, DEI training and the likes (especially "unconscious bias" training) is essentially "Speak Bitterness" campaigning in the guise of some kind of HR department instead of an openly Communist cadre forcing participation.
It's very difficult to comprehend the core purpose of DEI training and policies outside of the "Speak Bitterness" model once you are aware that it was a major programmatic campaign of the Maoist Communists in China in the 1950s. It has other purposes, sure, but this one's big.
This understanding is extremely frustrating because it immediately demonstrates that we never should have been doing it at all, but here we are. If we had learned about Maoist "Speak Bitterness" campaigns in history, we might have avoided most of the DEI damage.

I'm at the point in my career exposing and explaining Woke Marxism where reading Woke literature just infuriates me. I understand it clearly. It's widely exposed. It infuriates me to read them still doing it. I gotta straighten that out.
I'm reading a legal paper about parental rights, and it keeps talking about the "Don't Say Gay" bill in Florida, for example. There was no such bill. That was a media propaganda line, but here it is in one of the most respected law journals in the world as a pillar for evil BS.
Among the many things Woke Marxist academic writing does as a habit is cite other dubious studies, sometimes in a circular fashion, in fact, requiring you to do hours and hours and hours of careful legwork to expose just a couple of largely expendable paragraphs in their work.

It is true that Christians must not lose their compassion, including for illegals. The correct Christian compassion begins with Jesus' two commandments, both of them: love God and love your neighbor. You can't love your neighbor without loving Right first.
You cannot love the individual of an illegal immigrant as you would yourself, and express compassion for him, by inviting him in illegally, which automatically curses him as an outcast. That is not compassion. That is not helpful. That is not Christian love.
Further, you cannot love your illegal immigrant neighbors as yourself to the exclusion of your countryman neighbors in a blindness of (demonic) compassion. Mass amnesty is not Christian love because it harms your neighbors who are already your countrymen. This is unacceptable.

The other day, I shared evidence that Minecraft is pushing education for Sustainable Development and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN's Agenda 2030, and wouldn't you know it! They're partnered with UNESCO, not just sucking up to them. Image
You can see here that Minecraft is absolutely serious about having partnered with UNESCO to deliver content consistent with turning your kids into activists for Agenda 2030 and it's Sustainable Development Goals, and they consider this "education."

"This collaborative effort aims to enhance environmental literacy, develop critical thinking, foster global citizenship, and promote interdisciplinary learning among students through interactive and engaging Minecraft modules."

Just like the university agenda!

A common mistake anti-Communist activists make is setting their priority on substantive "wins" (like in policy, etc.). That's what you do when you control a significant part of the power, not very little of it. They should prioritize people, energy, (and money) at first instead.
All oppressed groups who have escaped their oppression throughout history teach the same lesson. You cannot win a power struggle when you don't have any power, but you can use what you have and the power itself to grow in power that can eventually become unstoppable.
I don't think "conservatives" (construed broadly) in the West are exactly an oppressed group, but the dynamic of oppression against them is certainly running. In some places they have local or state power, but in others, little or none, and beyond that, little or none.

Let's talk about a really important Woke idea you may not have heard of yet, though it's not new in any way: the "social determinants of health." If you're guessing that this is a blank check for Woke Marxists to do Medical Lysenkoism and more, you're exactly right.
The "social determinants of health" is a social (critical) constructivist theory about how health happens, and guess what! The conditions in which health arises or fails are socially constructed! Aren't you surprised? Of course you're not. That's Woke everything, but this is big.
The idea behind the "social determinants of health" concept is that there are social, political, and economic factors like access to grocery stores, good food, etc., plus racism, transphobia, and whatever else, and I mean WHATEVER ELSE, that all have impacts on health.

Just spent the afternoon reading about how the CCP went from village to village during Land Reform and stoked hatred until the countryside tore itself apart—millions dead and complete economic destruction—and it looks more or less exactly like what DEI training was designed to do
In Land Reform, it was land, grain, and stuff that was redistributed after the chaos and destruction resulting from the Communist hatecraft. In DEI it's professional status and job positions. Otherwise, the process is essentially the same.

Rough day.
Reading about Communism in application gives the overwhelming impression that Satan and demons simply must exist to explain the sheer levels of hate, malice, murder, envy, and destruction that can flow from people deranged by it. It seems supernaturally evil.
