I am finally home from the rally... Here's my perspective.
I was sitting almost directly in front of President Trump, about 10 rows back.
When the shots rang out, they really DID sound like fireworks.
Everyone was confused until President Trump hit the deck - then we knew.
I can not describe how my heart dropped in those few seconds before he stood back up, or what a relief it was to see this fist pump.
I think everyone there was holding their breath.
This - this said that he was ok.
It was pure chaos.
Most of the people around me initially thought the shots came from the bleachers on the left side of President Trump.
A bunch of people rushing up into the bleachers and dragging a man out seemed to confirm our theory at the time.
It appears as more info comes out that this man was instead one of the people injured by a stray round or ricochet.
I pray that he will recover.
I pray for the other people who were injured.
I pray for President Trump.
I don't even want to think about what we would have witnessed if his head had been 1/2" further to the right.
God has His hand upon him, and no one will convince me otherwise.
I am so thankful for the rally goers around me - nobody panicked.
Nobody ran and trampled people trying to get to safety.
Everyone was calm, even though they were upset.
I am so thankful for President Trump, continually risking his life and liberty solely because he loves America.
He WILL not stop, this will only make him stronger, and only strengthens my resolve to support him.
I am so sorry that we share a country with people that would do something this evil.
And I am so sad for the families of the people who were just having a great time seeing their favorite President, only to have their lives snuffed out by a radical maniac.
I am thankful that my dad and myself were not hurt.
I am angry at the wickedness that perpetuated this.
I am deeply grateful that President Trump is alive.
MAGA forever.
