My secret? Obsessively study Alex Hormozi’s new viral media strategy…

To create my simple VIRAL PREMIUM THREAD blueprint anyone can copy: Image
Alex is the king of educational content creation.

He spends ~$70k/mo on media, he posts ~250 pieces of content/week and grown by 5M followers in 2yrs.

After analyzing 35,000 posts over 40 months, Alex made 6 big changes…
I'll first walk you through the 6, and then my 3-step apply them to @geniusGTX.

This changed how I make content to go crazy viral...

Bookmark and share this thread, so you don't lose this! Image
1. From Edutainment to Pure Education

He's focused on deep business concepts instead of general ideas.

• Change the style
• Focus on research
• Deliver actionable insights

Result: 68% increase in Revenue Per Mille - more on this soon!
2. Narrowing the Target Audience

After a conversation with a friend doing $10M/year, Alex realized his content was not reaching the right people.

So he zeroed in on his ideal viewers - business owners who may apply to acquistion. com .

3. Narrow Topics to Specific Audience

Even when only 9% of his viewers are business owners.

Hormozi went all-in on business content. He dropped fitness, relationships, and other wide topics.
4. View is vanity.

"I'm okay with a video getting 10,000 views instead of 400,000 if those 10,000 are $10 million+ business owners."

He wanted to focus on ad rev. More specifically RPMs (Revenue Per Mille).

Higher RPMs = Better the quality people attracted.

From this shift, his RPMs increased by 68%.
5. Transition to Long-Form Content

Hormozi emphasized long-form over shorts. He found no evidence that shorts create long-form viewers.

And long-form videos drove more applications for his business.
6. An Introduction at the Start of Every Video

Hormozi started introducing himself in every video. He stopped making videos like "The Alex Hormozi Diet".

Alex now starts with:

• Who he is?
• His credential?
• Why should people care?

Result: 24.6% increase in subscriber conversion.
Big picture results...

Significant increase across the board:

• 68% in RPMs
• 2x in book sales
• 30% in long-form views
• 26% more opt-ins per week
• 25% more comments per view
• 24.6% in subscriber conversion

Why is this important?
How I applied this to go viral on demand for @geniusGTX:

1. Define the @geniusGTX identity
2. Create with the Blackbox research
3. Write viral hooks

Let's quickly cover this...
1. Define the @geniusGTX identity

GeniusGTX is created to share the best stories, case studies and insights on science, business, and life.

Some threads stories demonstrate genius, others are curation from genius.

All for you to train your "Genius Thinking"
2. Create with the Blackbox research

• Scout ideas on YouTube or Medium
• Write down curiosity-driven questions
• Use @perplexity_ai for answer & follow ups

• Find viral hook structure
• Reorganize for flow
• Ruthless editing

At this point your thread is 75% done.
3. Write viral hooks

80% of the virality of a thread depends on the hook.

• Create a list of 5 - 10 great thread writers.
• Analyze their viral hooks (structure, wording, credibility)

Mental Model: If you were to randomly to come across this thread, why would you care?
Now I know...Alex Hormozi spends $70,000 a month on content.

Why?

He knows attention is the new gold - whether it's status, influence, or business wise.

You don't need $70k to build an engaged audience, I've made something for you!

Jan 4th, 2012, a cryptic image posted on @4chan by user 3301, with a hidden message:

"Hello.

We are looking for highly intelligent individuals.

To find them, we have devised a test..."

Welcome to Cicada 3301, the greatest & most mysterious puzzles on the internet:

🧵Image
Within minutes, a hidden string of text was discovered in the image file.

It led to another image with a cipher that, once solved, pointed to a subreddit.

There, clues about a 18th-century book called "The Lady of the Fountain" were found.
By combining a code from the subreddit with "The Lady of the Fountain,"

a phone number was revealed.

Those who called it heard this haunting recorded message:

"Very good. You have done well.

There are three prime numbers associated with the original final.jpg image.

3301 is one of them. You will have to find the other two."Image
