Truth anchors your life in God’s reality, countering the devil’s lies.

Study and internalize God’s Word (the Bible) to know His truth. Be honest in your actions and words, and guard against deception by fact-checking information (e.g., through reliable sources or discernment). Regularly engage with Scripture through reading, apps, or ask others what they think to stay grounded.

Seeking His word can be as simple asking Him a question. Ask Him to show you the answer and see how He reveals the answer to you. The devil cannot trick you if you’re unable to be deceived.
2) BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS:
Righteousness protects your heart, reflecting a life aligned with God’s standards.

Apply it by living with integrity, making choices that honor God. This might mean practicing kindness, pursuing justice in your community, or confessing and repenting of personal sins. Seek forgiveness through prayer when you fall short, relying on Christ’s righteousness.

When presented with an opportunity to choose right from wrong (even if it’s as simple as putting the shopping cart back), it’s the integrity that you choose that counts. Taking a slight inconvenience so that someone else doesn’t have to, pleases God.
