🧵Let's discuss "negotiations" without disinformation:
1) No, Russia did not make a compromise proposal.
2) They want (at least) five territories and subjugation of the remaining parts.
3) Yes, they want Ukraine to stay out of NATO and be demilitarized (helpless) - THREAD
Just this week, Kremlin spokesman Peskov stated they insist on reaching all goals, either by continuing the special operation or through "negotiations." Under these terms, such "negotiations" can only be called capitulation and subjugation to Russia.
The goals he speaks about are: Ukraine must recognize Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Crimea as part of Russia. They want to "denazify" Ukraine, meaning installing a puppet regime and "de-Ukrainization." They also demand "demilitarization," leaving Ukraine helpless.
As if this scenario isn't horrifying and unacceptable enough, it can't be trusted. Medvedev stated that even after a ceasefire, Russia intends to annex all of Ukraine. He has posted several times that all of Ukraine is Russia, including placing the Russian flag on Maidan in Kyiv
Russia broke every document guaranteeing the territorial integrity of Ukraine, and there is no reason to trust the Kremlin now.
The daily genocidal propaganda, not only by state TV hosts but also by politicians, including those from Putin's party, is shocking.
They speak about "de-Ukrainization," "destroying all things Ukrainian," "killing all Ukrainians because they don't love us," "drowning Ukrainian children," "killing everyone who refuses reeducation," and much more.
What does living under Russian occupation mean for Ukrainians? It means cultural genocide, torture, deportations, looting, rape, killing and brainwashing kids to create Russian Z-soldiers for the future.
Yeah, but what about Crimea? Shouldn't they keep it as an offer? First, what about international law? Secondly, Russia turned Crimea into a military base. Remember the UN resolution on militarization? Russia attacked via Crimea in 2022...
Yeah, but what about the situation on the battlefield? Isn't Russia advancing?
The battlefield situation does not change anything about the facts mentioned before; it does not change international law or the war crimes Russia is committing.
The flood of pro-Russian and anti-Ukrainian narratives aims to confuse us, distract us from reality, and shift the blame where there is none to shift. All the blame lies with the Russian Federation, which started a war in 2014 and continued with a full-scale invasion in 2022.

How we help foreign dictatorships exploit our freedom of speech to confuse our society to such an extent that we hate our system and defend or even glorify theirs.
This process is in full progress...⬇️
They identify all kinds of "useful idiots" and "agents of influence" they can use, with or without their knowledge, to spread their narratives, propaganda, and disinformation in a way that we are not even aware we are being brainwashed by authoritarians.
They also identify all existing issues in our societies and then put all efforts into amplifying them. Every escalation and division in democratic countries is their victory. Russia, and even before that, the USSR, perfected this technique.
Jackson Hinkle has now launched the 'American Communist Party.' His views are already well known to many: openly in favor of the regimes in🇷🇺🇰🇵🇨🇳🇮🇷🇻🇪 and many more.
He also says that Hamas and the Houthis are not terrorists in his view.
Here are some of his highlights🧵
I think this posting says it all: not really a subtle approach...⬇️
This one as well. He is very often featured in Russian state propaganda media to express his 'special views,' which of course serve the Kremlin.
Russische Medien berichteten ebenso
