Yes there were examples of the monstrous amount of artillery that they brought to family homes, to fight with women and children and unarmed men, but the most terrifying is the parts of how they enjoyed mutilation, torture and unimaginable barbarism. Targeted ON CIVILIANS.

The #CryLie campaign: When I saw this ridiculous new blood libel I immediately thought: ‘how would @AJEnglish EVER get ANY content from this @IDF unit?!’ It turns out - this dog was kidnapped by #Hamas BEFORE the attack, meaning it was again orchestrated. Not only that, they also murdered the dog after.

The Qatari Al-Jazeera channel, which is affiliated with Hamas, published a document this week in which a stinging dog was seen attacking a Gazan woman who was in her home in the Jabalia refugee camp. But recently it turned out that the dog was kidnapped by Hamas along with all the combat equipment that was on his back. Today (Wednesday) the dog's body was returned and brought to the unit for burial.

“Hamas in its cruelty captured the god with the aim of harming the force and then murdered the dog. The IDF confirms the details and adds that ‘the incident occurred after the contact with the dog was broken. The dog was NEVER ordered to harm those not involved." (meaning he doesn’t know that order). We emphasize that as part of the Palestinians' massive campaign on the networks, they tried to use the incident to echo a narrative according to which an IDF dog attacked and seriously injured a Gazan woman.”

🧵 1/ #Words_Matter: GENOCIDE

Genocide is the intentional destruction of a people, in whole or in part.

In 1944, Polish (Jewish) lawyer Raphael Lemkin coined the term genocide, combining the Greek word γένος (genos, "race, people") with the Latin suffix -caedo ("act of killing").

Following the German invasion of Poland, Lemkin fled Europe and sought asylum in United States, where he became an academic at Duke University. The concept of "genocide" was defined by Lemkin to refer to the vicious extermination campaign launched by Nazi Germany to wipe out Jews in the Holocaust - as he described in his 1944 book Axis Rule in Occupied Europe,

In 1948 his analysis of Nazi atrocities were adopted by the UN Genocide Convention (CPPCG) as its criteria for a legal definition of determining "genocidal intent" - as an international separate crime.

Today, we are facing a new method of genocide - a very manipulative one, one that this Genocide Convention will not only not prevent but rather it will complicit in it. More on this in the following tweets.

I will only tell you about the Ottoman empire's massacres of Armenians during WW I bc this was the case that deeply disturbed Lemkin - the absence of international provisions to charge Ottoman officials who carried out war crimes, and eventually it led him to his book and this coined new term: genocide.

The Armenian genocide was the systematic destruction of the Armenian people and identity in the Turkish Ottoman Empire during World War I. Spearheaded by the ruling CUP, it was implemented primarily through the mass murder of around 1 million Armenians during death marches to the Syrian Desert and the forced Islamization of others, primarily women and children.

2/ The Ottoman Empire suffered a series of military defeats and territorial losses—especially during the 1912–1913 Balkan Wars—leading to fear among CUP leaders that the Armenians would seek independence. They feared the “resistance/ liberation” - Ottoman leaders took isolated instances of Armenian resistance as evidence of a widespread rebellion, though no such rebellion existed.

Their reaction was mass deportation, intended to permanently forestall the possibility of Armenian autonomy or independence.

On 24 April 1915, the Ottoman authorities arrested and deported hundreds of Armenian intellectuals and leaders from Constantinople.

At the orders of Talaat Pasha, an estimated 800,000 to 1.2 million Armenians were sent on death marches to the Syrian Desert in 1915 and 1916. Driven forward by paramilitary escorts, the deportees were deprived of food and water and subjected to robbery, rape, and massacres.

In the Syrian Desert, the survivors were dispersed into concentration camps.

In 1916, another wave of massacres was ordered - leaving about 200,000 deportees alive by the end of the year.

Around 100,000 to 200,000 Armenian women and children were forcibly converted to #Islam and integrated into #Muslim households.

Massacres and ethnic cleansing of Armenian survivors continued through the Turkish War of Independence after WW I, carried out by Turkish nationalists.

This genocide put an end to more than two thousand years of Armenian civilization in eastern Anatolia.

Together with the mass murder and expulsion of Assyrian/Syriac and Greek Orthodox Christians, it enabled the creation of an ethnonationalist Turkish state, the Republic of Turkey.

The Turkish government maintains that the “deportation of Armenians” was a legitimate action that cannot be described as genocide.

Funny or tragic- everything Turkey is blaming Israel for today - Turkey not only did but justified. According to Turkey the Armenians were “resettled for military reasons”, not exterminated.

The Turkish denial of the Armenian genocide rests on the assumption that the "relocation" of Armenians was a legitimate state action in response to a real or perceived Armenian uprising that threatened the existence of the empire during wartime.

Deniers assert the CUP intended to “resettle Armenians” rather than kill them. They claim the death toll is exaggerated or attribute the deaths to other factors, such as a purported civil war, disease, bad weather, rogue local officials, or bands of Kurds and outlaws.

* Ironically, the slogan of the CUP was: “Liberation Equality Justice”

Whether there was an Arminian genocide or not (and I understand there’s a lot of evidence to it) Interestingly- this is the exact fabricated claims they use to try and shame Israel.

It was not until Lemkin coined the term and the prosecution of perpetrators of the Holocaust at the Nuremberg Trials that the United Nations defined the crime of genocide under international law in the Genocide Convention.

So today, we are facing a new method of genocide - a very manipulative one, one that this Genocide Convention will not only not prevent but rather it will complicit in it.

3/ The genocide convention’s declared purpose was generally speaking fighting extreme cruelty and evil behavior against humanity. It was not - aiding those exact principles to cynically abuse the international legal system in the exact opposite direction that it is doing today.

In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed WITH INTENT to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as
such: (a) Killing members of the group; (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its
physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

The convention also allows any of the signed countries to bring a genocide allegation to the international court - as a proxy of any group in the world. This was meant to help victims that are so weakened under the genocidal actions - to have agency.

However- this convention is now weaponized against its original purpose- it is actually helping the genocidal party to not only commit it but to avoid all responsibility and accountability for it.

Even if we put aside the fact that this convention did not consider the new legal reality of war in which an armed fighting party that has zero accountability to the international laws (or any laws) is feeding the legal institutions that it does not a acknowledge with fabricated evidence and claims (fake/deep fake) and the inability to bring the actual genocidal party to court- since it’s a terrorist proxy organizations hiding behind other proxy countries, and hiding behind its own people as well.

We simply must consider the NEW form of genocide and masked proxies evil that humanity has to fight.

The 1948 convention never considered a group that is both in control and not officially declared as one (to be held accountable for its control and actions). It did not consider a group that will both commit a genocide on one people- live broadcasted and then deny it.

It did not consider that this same group will then proceed to create a genocide or at least THE PERCEPTION OF A GENOCIDE to themselves just so that they could argue a genocide is done to them. Intentionally bringing its own unarmed people into a war zone, hiding behind them, mixing with them while firing- purposely aiming to create and maximize deaths to their own people in every possible way, to create THE PERCEPTION OF A GENOCIDE- that would allow them to argue genocide in their name. A people hijacked by themselves.

It did not consider this kind of relatively new evil intent that was created in our world - where terrorist organization are hijacking a people/country - committing atrocities in their name - then while hiding behind them - claiming victimhood in their name as well, to orchestrate a pre mediated legal fake claim for a genocide only to avoid accountability for an actual genocide - by using those shield people as intentional props and casualties to provide so called “evidence”. All to prevent the actual groups that are targeted by this genocidal party - from defending themselves from genocide.

👉🏻 It never considered that the main principles to prove a genocidal intent, such as: “deliberately and systematically targeting victims on account of their membership of a particular group” - would be actively done by the ones claiming genocide - to their own group/ people - as a war instrument, and only to WEAPONIZING THE LEGAL SYSTEM against the party they are fighting and as a part of their manipulative attempt to commit war crimes & avoid accountability for them.

👉🏻 We are witnessing a NEW sophisticated genocide method of our time - a genocide done through intense information and legal warfare- in a clear INTENT to destroy a group of people. They call that targeted group “Zionists” now.
